Holy shit this was bad ass!!! 🔥 💪🏽 For some reason it took you off all notifications, but i got you back on!
Just found your channel. I can relate. The gym does not work as folks want to know why I am missing a leg. Thanks again.
@@buzzcutjose thanks for dropping by. Great work 💪💪
30 seconds 1 arm hang welcome to the club
@@batsquad2046 hey thanks, glad I got in 💪
strong weighted pull-ups!
@@keepcalmandrerack thanks man! 💪
Damn John!! Back looking built as hell 💪🏽 🦬
@@Sheikbaby thanks Sheiky 💪
Lean and clean john handle 20kg like its nothing. Nice set up 🔥
@@LockUpWorkouts thanks Div 💪
You handle this 20kg plus pull up very smooth, John! Very impressive pull up session! 👍
@@sascha_pfeifer thanks Sascha! 💪
Just some HEAVY AND STRONG pull ups! 😄
@@creativetraininghacks thanks Florian! Working on it 💪
Nice sets! Looking very athletic 👌
@@Alien_Frog_king thanks cuz 💪 I think I’ll incorporate more weighted pulls ups into my routine 💪
@@John1mperialyeah can see you getting to some big weights cuz! I'm not sure about myself and weights, like I'd prefer to get better at levers, slow MU, backward rolls... There's sooo much to work on so little time 😮🥺let alone the floor work, handstand, planch, QDR, it's like life is accelerating faster than I can Keep up, my goals remain untouched in dusty boxes
@@Alien_Frog_king totally relatable haha there’s just so much goals with what feels like very little time to work on them 😅
@@John1mperialyeah. I'm back on the handstand journey, the longest slowest road I've ever travelled 😮
@@Alien_Frog_king pretty sure you’ll get there in no time!
Looking clean on the pull-ups! And look at that back development 💪🏻
@@SandbagMisfit94 thanks man! I’d like to eventually do 20 strict pull ups
@ that’s always been a hard one for me!
@ same, I usually max at 15 😅
@ that’s better than me! 😂 I usually max at 10
Perfect form!!! Cannot beat the classic pull up for back gains!
@@michaelpopkins3002 indeed! Pull ups are goated 💪
weighted pull-ups I like that,my #1 exercise, I hope you start doing more of it and get up to a 100lbs 💪
@@batsquad2046 I’ll definitely do them more. 100 lbs is a lot! How many times a week do you do them?
@@John1mperial I train pull-ups 2 times a week 1 heavy day and 2nd either body weight greasing the groove to 50 reps or 50% of my heavy. My weighted pull-up is 75lb , Currently working on neutral grip which is at 72.5lbs for 6 once I get it to 75lb, changing grips. Neutral grip is the weakest out of the 3
@@batsquad2046 that’s awesome! Usually the neutral grip is the strongest, but I guess it depends on which one you train.
Looking fukn jacked bro!!! Back looking dense AF. And weighted pull ups are the shit!!
yes, definitely looking dense!!💪🦇 weighted pullups are top-tier!!!
@@StopTheDamnTape yeah, I’ll integrate weighted pulls more into my routine! And thanks, my back tends to lean out first before the rest of my body 🥲
@@John1mperial back is the best imo. Looks aesthetic, screams of power and ability !
Lean mean machine!
@@thestonecircle thanks man! My body tends to get the fat from my back first and the midsection last 🥲
@John1mperial man I'm the same way it's fkn annoying hahah
@ it is annoying 😂 If only the fat from my midsection gets burned first
Got the cables and bag over there too. Nice set up.
@@dojanglesclimb Yeah, it’s a nice setup, unfortunately it’s a friend’s garage gym 😅. I’ll try visiting more often though.
awesome work here John! sharing the knowledge!!!🧠💪
@@stevecalamars7890 thanks Steve!
Great stuff man!! Very impressive 💪
@@TreyPenney thanks man. Still training with sandbags?
@John1mperial I have an old running injury from last spring, and training with the sandbag right now I think is unwise. I'm trying to be patient and let that heal.
Bro's training for Hacksaw Ridge 😂
@@TreyPenney 😂 You’ll never know, maybe one day I have to carry 75 bodies or something
@John1mperial i can't say i haven't imagined that when training lol
@@TreyPenney haha makes for some great motivation!
@@John1mperial for sure 💪
Sweet! Looking healthy and strong!
@@dojanglesclimb thanks brother. Consistency pays off! 💪
Tough workout! Wow!! 💪💪
@@marga_asana2run thanks Marga! 💪
You create such a great workout, John! Your performance is on top level! What a phantastic stamina 👍👍👍
@@sascha_pfeifer thanks Sascha! Still working on it, I still get gassed fast 😅
This is awesome! My term for mixing heavy sandbags and intense type cardio is a lungfucker ☠️😂
@@SandbagMisfit94 that’s a very fitting name 😂
@ for sure! ☠️
Yes, "brutal" puts it pretty well! I've always liked hybrid circuits of sandbag and bodyweight exercises 💪💪👍
@@creativetraininghacks Sandbag and bodyweight exercises go together so well!
The title and content certainly match, this would have anyone's heart ready to burst and muscles on fire
@@Alien_Frog_king I usually need a few mins just sitting or lying on the floor after these sessions 😂
Yes john brutal sessions love it need to give theses a go ! apart from the skip rope number, I've never learned how to skip I'll just jump on the spot 😂
@@LockUpWorkouts heyy thanks Div! Yeah, you can just skip without the rope or just jump jacks 😂. Let me know how it goes!
@John1mperial 100% bro probably need to drop the weight to lol.
@ haha 100%! No need to follow the exact weight 💪
Awesome video bro, great to have solid and easy to follow advice for new lifters or new to sandbags and rings lifters. And I agree rings are like the most affordable, convenient training tool that anyone in any situation can utilise. Even the cheap as hell ones can handle tons of abuse, heavy weighted chins etc
Dude these are great… that last one is just otherworldly level brutal haha
@@StopTheDamnTape yeah that last one gave me posterior chain doms for a couple of days 😂
@ I am not shocked what so ever lol
Every one of those looks brutal!!!
@@michaelpopkins3002 they were brutal! Heart rate was through the roof 😅
Excellent video. You got new subscriber in me. Cheers!
@@MGShogun appreciate it! 💪
Dang that's intense! I can't believe you're doing the second one with a sandbag that heavy, I used to do that with a ~70 lb bag and it floored me almost instantly hahah
@@thestonecircle I used about 70kg for that one, and yeah it’s so intense I had to take a longer breather in between sets 😂
@@John1mperial insane!
Love the accent brother great video
@@jollyrancher1374 thanks brother! Hope you picked something useful from the video 💪
Explosive extreme and dedication john. Putting in some work inspiring my man 💪🏻 🔥💯
@@LockUpWorkouts thanks Div 💪
This man hasn't got muscles, he's got pure dynamite!! How can he lift such huge weights so fast and explosive. Power house 👊👊
@@Alien_Frog_kingappreciate it cuz! I was watching Physical 100 (netflix) beforehand so I was so hyped to train! 😅
@@John1mperialI could definitely see you on TV doing a fitness challenge cuz! I think you're a great all-rounder but power to size ratio seems to be an especially strong point for you
@@Alien_Frog_king nah, I’d be too old for those kinds of things 😂 And my endurance needs lots of work
@@John1mperialyou look young to me from my 45 year old vantage point 😮😢 you'd give the younger ones a run for their money with your all round ability
@@Alien_Frog_king you don’t look 45 at all 🤯, I thought you were in your late 30s. I’m in my late 30s btw.
You mean: Sandbag Skyscraper Pulls 😄
@@creativetraininghacks haha thanks Florian.
Awesome work and awesome tune!!!
@@michaelpopkins3002 hey thanks for dropping by 💪
Those high pulls are more of hamstring inferno than for the traps! 🔥
@@SandbagMisfit94 oh definitely, entire posterior chain lights up!
@ for sure!
What is your goal sb to shoulder?
@@Skit-Shot my max is 120kg | 264 lbs at the moment, so my short term goal is 275 lbs, but I eventually want to shoulder 300.
@@John1mperialawesome! keep going John! doing awesome! such a cool session blending sandbag, KB, and jump rope!
@ thanks Steve! Just thought I would do a little bit of the movements I like this session 👌
@@John1mperial always an intelligent way to increase engagement and the joy of a session!!
Excellent song and workout choice!!! 💪🏽🤘🏽Screw jump roping barefoot tho 😂
@@Sheikbaby haha tripped a few times on the rope and it hurt my toe like hell 😂 Awesome way to force myself to focus though 😂
High pulls looking strong man! Did you end up putting a tennis ball in the top of the bag?
@@thestonecircle thanks man. Nah no tennis ball, I figured that would make adjusting the weight harder haha. I did however tie the main bag with a canvas belt then use the built-in tie for the top of the knot, makes it cleaner that way.
@@John1mperial Nice I think I'll have to try that, after moving the sand is all out of shape in my ironmind bags now it's annoying haha
Nice! I like that you're even working ankle extension on those high pulls.
@@dojanglesclimb didn’t even realize I was doing them haha. I just try to get that thing as high as possible.
@John1mperial it worked! You're using your whole body intuitively. Good stuff!
Sandbag high pull 🤘🤘
@@StopTheDamnTape awesome movement for explosiveness 👌
Can you share your workout program?
@@brasilultimateteam I actually created a beginner rings and sandbag program here: th-cam.com/video/HtX5HZXPmVo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ni42EJevSmIXSkTb
A man in his element
@@Alien_Frog_king thanks cuz 💪
truly! John has taught us all, perhaps parking garages hold more value than the "gym", for most people, just an environment to focus and work, without distractions!💪 crushing this session, John!!
@@stevecalamars7890definitely, he's making concrete garages cool ! I would like access to one too but here it would be ridiculously cold 😗
That's a very demanding but also really effective circuit for practically the whole upper body 💪🏽👍 I especially like the one arm kettlebell rows myself.
@@creativetraininghacks yeah the KB row is a great movement, just so damn tiring for some reason 😂😅
Awesome work!!
@@thestonecircle 💪💪💪
Heck yeah. Overhead pressing looking strong.
@@dojanglesclimb thanks brother💪 One of my weaknesses, so really trying to hammer it 😅
Solid work as usual John!👍
@@StoneOx heey thanks brother! Getting some reps in 💪
A great intro video for beginners!
@@spicyf glad you liked it! 💪
I'm digging that circuit! 🔥🥵
@@Sheikbaby upper body annihilation 😅
Nice man getting the deficit with those bars 💪🏻
@@StopTheDamnTape makes the movement a lot tougher for sure!
