Update on the MK3 Supra!
Giving a quick update on the Supra project. It’s crunch time and I haven’t posted anything for a while. Lots to do and lots more I probably forgot to show. I'll upload a full build list later on when we get closer to finishing up.
I typically post more pictures on Instagram, check it out!

    Doing great work and I subscribed to follow your build. If you’re aiming to go higher HP, or eventually running E85, I would suggest ditching the 340 pump and going with a Walbro 450. I’d also suggest running TXL 10AWG all the way from the fuel pump relay to the fuel pump. Then of course upgrading a higher current circuit to power that relay with the same wire. I have a fair amount of wiring related content on my channel, if you’re looking for ideas.

      Thanks for the info and the follow! My setup will be E85 capable (custom PTFE lines, etc), it's just going to be a street car for now. Nothing too "over the top" yet haha. I did think about the 450 when I was putting my list together, but the 340 just made more sense for the moment. For the wiring, I'm relocating the battery to the trunk, so the new pump wires won't have to travel too far, same with the relay.

    I’m using the same exhaust, mine is not loud at all. But it depends on setups.

    Hey man, have you put a downpipe on it yet? And is it actually 70mm or is it standard 3"

    • @Ringlandz90
      @Ringlandz90 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! No, I haven't pulled the trigger on the downpipe yet. As far as the size, I used a Grimmspeed 2.5 to 3" adapter and it bolted right up without issue! I did not check the actual sizing.

      @@Ringlandz90 nice! Online it looks like it's only 2.75"

      @@401nate2 Rally Sport Direct has it on their site now, it indeed says 70mm. Honestly, unless you're pushing high numbers I don't see a problem with .25" difference. haha

      Yeah plan is for 400-450whp down the road. I'll give it a try.

    Hey, i was debating between this or the Tomei Expreme ti, do you have sound clips of driving and high revs? i like how fat the exhaust is, how do you like it so far?

    • @Ringlandz90
      @Ringlandz90 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Expreme is LOUD! Initially, that's what I wanted to buy when I bought the care and started researching parts. This has gotten a little louder over time, but I still love this catback! I don't have any high rev videos, unfortunately. I'll see what I can put together when the weather here gets better.

      Jacob Garman ahh I see man, i do like the look of this exhaust over the Tomei. Do you have a Instagram? Would like to see more pics of your cars

      Would you say it's definitely louder than the authorize RM? And do you have a turboback system?

    Does this mate up directly to your stock downpipe or did you have to get an adapter? Curious since I have an aftermarket 3in dp

    • @Ringlandz90
      @Ringlandz90 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I used the Grimmspeed adapter for my setup. I didn't want to get the DP until I was able to pro-tune and some other mods. This cat-back should have no issue mating up to your aftermarket DP.

    Hello, Do you have any highway drone? I used have Invidia N1, it sounds awesome, downside was very annoying drone on highway cruise. I really like single exit for newer sti.

    • @Ringlandz90
      @Ringlandz90 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Yeah the N1 was my next choice, but I had heard the same regarding the drone. This has absolutely no drone whatsoever! Noticeably louder than stock, but by no means is it loud. Under 3k RPM, it's got good rumble but it's not overpowering.
