@@Quontez I definitely feel like I’m actually on the ground in the beta, keep in mind it’s an old build. Forza, I just feel like I’m ice skating with decent skates. The Crew feels like I’m on the surface but extra weighted. As of right now, I’m not saying TDU SC handling is the best out of the games you named, but it definitely feels like I’m on tarmac.

The Bugatti Veyron has 1,106 ft lbs of torque. People , please understand the difference and functional operation of horsepower and torque. Torque is more important than HP

@@George-ux6zz tbh I feel like the smart dealership that has plenty ZR-1 allocations would skip markups just like the museum, in order to garner as many new ZR-1 customers as possible. It’s the better business practice and you’ll develop loyal customers that obviously aren’t short on cash

@@septopus3516 fair. But that only remains true for stock vs stock. Now most guys wouldn’t dare get under the hood of a Ferrari, but when’s the last time you’ve seen a bone stock C6 or C7?? C8s are getting boosted more and more day by day. Performance wise, most cars actually can’t keep up with corvettes, bc corvette owners won’t leave them stock. So performance wise, Corvette clears Ferrari with ease. Bc no one said you can’t mod the Ferrari, people just don’t. But when it comes to prestige, conversation starter, and tradition/heritage… Ferrari has most brands beat.

Used to be like that but believe me as a Porsche owner and possible Ferrari guy Ferrari sucks. They’re temperamental they’re finicky . You have to buy like 3 old cars to buy a new F car. The whole Ferrari business model is a scam. I can tell you have never shopped one. I have a Z06 and it’s as good as anything I’ve ever driven including the 458

A Ferrari is still a Ferrari, and a Corvette is still a Corvette. People get way too emotionally involved in comparing them I think. They are very different feeling cars, even tho GM copied the 458.

@@BarryWMedinaMusic GTB is a beast!! ZR-1 already is faster than the SF90 technically. Even with the ZTK package GM rated the top speed at 215+ mph while the SF90 is 211mph. Initial acceleration is going to the SF90 but on a track?? ZR-1 might do the SF90 the same way the 765LT did it, but even worse.

@@javierpereira7580 sad way to look at it, but unfortunately the most accurate based on what we’ve seen. Not to mention that GM gave out all the details on this beast except the barrier to entry. It’s like they want to give out as much specs as possible to justify a nonsensical Corvette price on the horizon. We’ll see. Hopefully I’m wrong and it’s actually “affordable” for the average ZR-1 owner that is. But with more hp than a Bugatti Veyron, the weight of a Mustang, and being able to breach 207mph easier than an SF90 Ferrari (even with the ZTK high downforce package equipped)… I can’t really see one unit leaving the dealership for less than $390k

@@AYO_KO people who buys 200K+ cars buys them for reasons where the performance is just one variable but not the decider factor. I don’t think Corvette has some of them yet and the volume is way lower compared to what usually Corvettes sells. I believe, we, the previous Corvette’s customer base, bought them for exactly the opposite reason, because we appreciate the reliability, the fantastic machines and the great value they are and because we do not care much about those other factors that the high prestige brands buyers care about. We’ll see, time will tell if this was the right move for GM, although not being the right one for some of us.

People seem to forget the last generation zr1 was around 180k what would you expect from the new one

@@Christo_1373 honestly I expect nothing, since it is not at my reach anymore . The question is more if that new niche that GM is targeting will appreciate their machines as we did and if they will make a good business for GM trading its customer base. But all good. GM is making a great product.

These will depreciate in to your price range, even newer Ferraris depreciate. Other C8's demonstrate this truth.

Also thank you for interacting and commenting about multiple aspects of the video. I appreciate it a lot!! But yeah I get your point, bc the money is right there for the taking. If you’re a dealer and you know the top spec ZR-1s are coming in at $250k, and are HIGHLY sought after cars that perform like $500k-$700k factory supercars as well as highly modified sports and supercars, you’re not just gonna charge MSRP. The deal is too sweet to turn down, especially if you can feed your family, keep doors open, feed the salesmen’s family multiple times over, and still retain a customer base bc they’ve come to accept markup abuse.

@@TheUnknowncaller12 depending on where the 1/4 mile runs are done matters too, same as for the Demon170. Believe it or not, quickest stock McLaren 765LT 1/4 mile time is even deeper into the 9s vs an SF90. SF90 being WAAAY quicker than a Turbo S! Prep or no prep. SF90 runs high 9s on no prep back to back to back. I think with prep, this ZR-1 is easily a mid 9s car at nearly 900RWHP from factory. I kinda wanna see how it stacks up vs Twin Turbo Stingrays and Twin turbo E-Rays.

My thinking is if you can pay that for the new Hummer and the Dodge Flop170 or Black Ghost, you can pay $200k over for this. The performance from the ZR-1 is so crazy, the markups will almost be justified… ALMOST.

And the Ford g t d star at 300k that not even taxes at least its cheap than the g t d even with write up you will still get a good deal America muscle car

It does. This spec has 1200lbs of down force. 1068 crank is like 960-970whp. The spoiler is like a brake at higher speeds so it slows the car down but is faster around a track than the low spoiler model. That one most likely will go 220-240mph I estimate

@@travisdt there won’t be a shortage of ZR1s, so there is that. But to go under sticker?? I honestly doubt it. If we look at it for the amount of car you’re getting for potentially $260k max… the stealerships are going to have a field day. The only thing that can curb markups is the fact that the car will not be limited run. So the first batch will be cooked, but after that when more are readily available, markups should dwindle

@@linussaurian4000 very sure!! You saw what happened with the C8 stingray. The supposedly $64k car all around, all American sports car. Then when it released, 1LTs were going for $100k before options. Based off stingray, Z06, and Eray prices, this ZR1 shoul be slotted at $185k to start. $250k-$260k as a fully optioned convertible. But we have to keep in mind, it’s gonna perform like, as well as potentially out perform, the SF90, 296 GTB, Revuelto, 765LT, Turbo S, and more. Besides the Turbo S and 296GTB, I just named $500k-$700k cars. So if we assume the average ZR1 will go for $250k, and stealerships see it performs as good as its $700k competitors, what do you think the markup will look like??

@@AYO_KO maybe GM isn't ready for that just yet. Considering the corvette market, I don't think they want a full EV Corvette. I guess the affection for the E-Ray will lead to decisions later down the road. For now I am so pleased with this new ZR1. It feels like the last Harumph of pure ICE power and engineering. in 10 years who knows what we will have.

@@JR-mc4wg active aero would add more weight depending on the amount you’re looking for. But I see what you mean. Theres no middle ground. Either low slippery configuration with the base, or full on track car with the ZTK package

@AYO_KO They should have added an active wing instead of the static wing. It shouldn't weigh too much more. It will also cut loads of unnecessary downforce.

@@JR-mc4wg if they did it like the koenigsegg Agera R back in 2011 with the flex wing. The wing itself is supported by dampers that flex, reducing drag, the faster you go.

@AYO_KO The wings on the new Mustang and Porsche don't seem too cumbersome and look to be a similar design.

@@josephroman7396 definitely not optimized for big power numbers especially in the LT2 cars. Kind of a similar story with the S550 GT500 7 Speed DCTs. They’re good. But won’t realize their potential until Tremec unlocks them.

@@TwistedOreo same. As for the drift physics, base on what Alex showed in his video, it looks like they’ve made massive improvements. I still believe it will take getting used to, especially with the curb physics
