the young spinifex pigeons have fledged. parents still take very good care of them. especially the father constantly attacking my feet. the fledglings move ever so slightly each day. they don't move at all when you are in the avairy

@7:11" it´s for rhe well-being of the birds". You must be kidding, Lady. If I would sell any bird at my club in such shoebox for dolls the authorities would shut down the whole expo/exhibition. It seems also very strange to request such phantasy prices for the Gouldian finches, color is not everything and quite a few of them have a shape which tells me "hands off!".
So many of the birds look super stressed, very sad.

Gouldians. Here in Cape Town S.A. we use the L-shaped nest boxes. They seem to work best. Yes the red-headed males are the most attractive.

They are all incredible I've just recently got my NSW B1 license, id love to keep pigeons and finches if you dont mind me asking whats the best way to find breeders?
Hi curtis, thank you for your question. I have found success in buying young birds around 1 year old or less and from breeders who have good stock and clean avairies. It means I can mature up these birds on good variety of foods and make them strong fir breeding. 💪
@Flynns World thank you so much for replying the advice is very much appreciated , I'm still trying to find breeders at the moment but I have applied for membership in a avicultural society hopefully they can point me in the right direction 😁
