@@luck5179 honestly they get blurry when in 1440 or 1080 with DLSS. But when in 4K they don’t really blur up at all. The PFD can get weird ish around the speed tape but that’s it

@@QwertyQwerty-gf7bk 30, but with the Lossless scaling program it’s doubling it to 60. But it dips a little here and there, but usually the lowest it’ll go is like 45-50 on avg.

@@saren6538 I’m going to make a video soon titled “how to run the A380 settings guide” and I’ll go through everything there to make it flyable. But the auto FPS program is a life saver. I have my TLOD set to 25 when I’m below 300ft AGL. That makes the ground performance with GSX and traffic SO much smoother

@@French28Pilot thank you man I appreciate your kind words! Means a lot to me!! And by far the lower cockpit texture mod I made a video on is the most effective. It takes down the cabin and cockpit textures and makes it run like butter

@@marcosdevincenz3344 I have my resolution set to 4K in MSFS settings, and use DLSS on performance. That keeps everything sharp and crisp. Maybe look into the DLSS swapper mod and try that out. But I still had great views without that mod before

@@jingle1161 I know that I like to save camera views back there for longer flights. When the autopilot is on I can pop back there and look around. It’s nice but some people require a little too much detail there. Anything more than the aerosoft crj im happy lol

​@@budgetflightsim ok I get it. I guess the performance hit is also not that noticeable when flying @30000ft. A toggle switch is a good idea. Personally I'd prefer all resources focused on cockpit/flightmodel and cabin as nice to have.

@@MrDawid yeah I’d imagine. It didn’t take long for me to install it, maybe 20 minutes or so. But I’d imagine that’d be the easiest way to get it back to default. All your liveries would still be there so you wouldn’t have to redownload them

Thats wild, im on a laptop on ultra graphics getting 50-60 fps with it, way cheaper than ur PC, u prob don't know how to build a pc.

@@budgetflightsim I'm not. It's a legion 7i pro 4080, i9 14900hx 32gb ram. I also use scenery mods, fstl etc. Not sure how ppl having issues.

@ it has its quirks. But I’ve got ways to make it work much more reliably than any other frame gen I’ve tried

@@cocox9948 try lowering your texture resolution in your MSFS settings to one lower than you’ve got it now. Frees up a bunch of VRAM and doesn’t look very different if you move one notch down. That should help!

what would be a great GPU for MSFS? Im planning to build my own PC dedicated to flight simming. Especially MSFS 2020/2024.

@ Not a 4090 not a 4080 but a 4070ti super. The 4070ti super delivers better performance then the 3090ti thats how strong it is.

@@cptbaku6310 well a 3060ti is in my budget my friend, hence the channel name. But it does very very well for what it is, 4K and 60fps with frame gen and other lil tricks make it work for me

i had a RX 6600 for a year and played with tons of addons this is nonsense

@@gamesmore9169 I use the swapper and I get a very noticeable difference when switching between quality/performance etc with DLSS. I’ve not tried DX12 other than when I used the nvidia frame gen mod. But I’ll look into that

@@SN57ONE I’m in 4K with DLSS set to “performance” and I’ve gone through and lowered some settings to lower GPU usage to allow my frame gen to work (lossless scaling). I’ll make an updated video on my settings soon, stay tuned

Msfs 2020 is a cpu intensive game and depending on what cpu you have it bottlenecks because the game doesn’t really know to handle multi core cpus

I have 3070ti with 5600x and get low 30s in 4k version at 2560x1080 in the sky away from airports and cabin off. not sure how you get 60 odd ?

@@JbBackFeeble are you sure there isn’t a 4 instead of a 3 on your GPU lol, maybe you just got lucky and it’s sitting well with your system

@@TazziedoesWT yep it’s the $7 lossless scaling. I run 4K on my MSFS settings resolution and then use DLSS - performance to essentially down scale it from what I understand … but it looks MILES better for me than native 1440p by a large margin.

@ ahh I see! I use a 4070, get around 45 fps with TAA at Sydney. But get a really bad stutter/FPS in Rome (Italy) like really bad. Looking to find what tf is causing it other than its another big city.

How do you get frame gen on a 30 series card? Are you using the mod?

how much ram do you have? and can u run all planes without much lags? i think i will get 5 5600 too with the 3070

@ i think the 3060ti has 8gb. But I have to lower other settings to achieve enough headroom for frame gen. I’ll make a video on it soon!
