I was going to buy this keyboard. Then i realised how the switches looks cheap and the amount of work and money to spend to make it solid and top tier. I went for the Keychron Q2 pro. Pricey but I have all I need. Nice video! I still think this keyboard is a solid one tho. Just my personal preference :)

I believe the inerpretation of the word 'thock' is subjective. For me, it's a deep sound represented by '-hock' with a sharp initial attack represented by the 't-'. I also see a 'thock' to be without reverb or hollowness and thus accentuating the quality and details of the sound of each key... seriously though, all good fun 😂. If you're careful not to scrape it with a screwdriver or something you should be fine. If you want to be super safe you can always ground yourself, but I didn't do that for two keyboards I made and had no issues. As long as you don't visibly crack or damage the board you should be fine. It's an easy and safe mod to do in my opinion and as long as the tape is insulating it should be fine.

It'd be pretty hard to ruin a keyboard like this. As long as you find videos of the mods you want to do you should be fine. Like I said in the video, this was my first time even touching a mechanical keyboard, so I'm sure you'll be fine. If you have any questions or anything you can comment here and I'll try my best to explain anything you need. Also, you don't have to spend as much money as I did. You can easily get away with cheaper parts and it would still sound great. I say just give it a shot, there's always a way to fix something if you do end up breaking it, but I don't think you will. 👍
