    That marinade is mind blowing. But what, no dill? And please don't throw away the flavour and texture of the potato skins. I mean, maybe even slice and deep fry the skins until crispy, to use as a salty crumbled garnish. Sigh. Edit: ok I looked at the actual recipe. This is super-cool, a new angle on potato salad for me (which normally uses several sorts of dairy inc smoked cheese...) so Thank You. Europe has so much variety. No different to any other part of the world. So much to learn. Subscribed. Forgive me, not even veggie let alone vegan. Eighty percent veggie, and here for the journey.

      Trust me, I tried to keep the skins on for this recipe! But when you slice cooked potatoes, the skins just fall off. I left them on when I tried making it with the potatoes in chunks, but the flavor is simply better when it is in slices. Sooo...the skins just didn´t make the cut on this one!       Yeah she needs to use the Knuckle/Claw method. Knife skills are often learned by accidents though. It was a good recipe and a well produced video.

      I have been craving savory breakfast lately actually! For something quick I have been doing a piece of toast using a type of bread that is hearty with a lot of seeds in it, then with some tahini spread on top, then hummus, then some harissa paste or a little something spicy, then cilantro. So it´s a good balance with the creamy hummus, the spiciness and then the coolness of the cilantro. It´s my current obsession 😅 Depending on how hungry I am sometimes I eat two slices.

    Great ideas in your videos. Love the pasta sauce and the vegan parmesan idea! I have only used the nutritional yeast on its own. I am curious what the reason might be that you are not eating a lot of vegetables and salads along with. your high protein?

      Hi! I´m so glad you like the videos. The pasta sauce with the vegan parm is a game changer! I do eat a lot of vegetables, in the video I include some steamed cauliflower for luncha and broccoli with dinner. I like to make vegetables in large batches and keep them in the fridge to easily eat as leftovers. Most days I eat a big salad that includes more veggies, this day I was mostly focused on the protein aspect so I just included one with lunch and another with dinner. Thanks for being here!

      For me, 100g+ is high-protein considering I technically only need about half of that amount. Everyone is different though!

      I think a nutribullet would work fine! Just pulse it until it becomes a powder. I doesn't even need to be a fine powder, it can still be slightly chunky. Let me know how it works!

      More than anything, I find it important for those who are starting to eat more plant-based meals to know easy ways to incorporate protein into their meals to stay full and satisfied. I agree that not this much protein in a day is *needed* for everyone, however if you are trying to build muscle it is essential to eat a lot of protein. This video is just to serve as some inspiration on ways to easily add protein to your meals :)

    for anybody trying to lose weight , be careful with any nuts, seeds etc because they are usually very calorie dense and you can really only eat very small amounts at best if your trying to shed kilos, there are other more protein rich foods that arent as high in calories, just do some research to gain a better awareness and also buy some scales so you can learn how fattening some of these healthy foods actually are yeah

      Since I have started on a mostly whole food plant-based diet and have kept my activity level up (I am very active), I haven´t limited my healthy fat intake and it has not made me gain weight. When I used to eat a low-fat omnivore diet I honestly struggled to stay fit more than now. I find that healthy fats (ones that contain protein as well) keep me full and satisfied for a longer time, help me to snack less, etc. But everyone´s body and fitness goals are different! The video wasn´t specifically for weight loss, these are just examples of meals that I eat as an active person that help me to stay full and satisfied 🙂

    Good morning Maria and family 😊 we are half way watching this video but had to pause after your knive comment. As an ex chef it is very important to only use sharp knives (please) they are less dangerous. And if you did cut yourself (we all do) a sharp cut hurts less then with a blunt knife (paper cut excluded in this instance 😂) so o took the liberty to quickly scope 2 videos for you if you have time. In the first video the biggest thing to master is “the claw” it will make cutting so much easier safer and faster. 😊😊😊 the other video is on sharpening. Ich hoffe ihr habt eine gute Woche 🎉

      Hi! I do know of the dull knife rule actually! But I personally have been using the same knives for like 10 years and have never cut myself, then when I use sharp ones sometimes I do!       Oh I'm so excited for you and your plant-based journey! This is a normal sliced bread that is dark that I have in a local supermarket in Spain, I honestly don't remember the name. But I try to always get some kind of whole grain and even better of it has some kind of seeds in there to make it more hearty and filling!

    Although the recipe for the cauliflower looks tasty, what is that lumpy stuff in the dipping sauce? Is that a result of the yogurt curdling or something?

      Honestly the sauce usually has no lumps in it! When I poured it had been sitting in the fridge for a bit and I think the butter started to solidify again. When you add cornstarch with yogurt it stabilizes it and keeps it from curdling!
