BEOpt is the most user friendly program I know of in the free category of energy modeling. You graphically draw your house and pick parameters from a menu.
I made this video because there are many longer tutorials that go into details and niche features. But I did not see a video that gets you the most common features quickly and gives you the feel of the software.
