Try re-installing BEOpt. Dview is included with it. (When you run the simulation, I think there is a checkbox to view the results in Dview... haven't done this in a while). Good luck.
Thank you so much. It worked. I had to install the lower version. I have one more question, how do we find out lets say percentage of HVAC (electricity used) in a year?
I'm not sure about electricity (ie fuel type breakout), but if you click around the different Dview options, you can get usage by end use. I.e. heating. Then get the total use. The easier way if you are looking for annual is to go back into BEOpt and look at the energy reports. Dview is more for getting time series data. The energy reports give you annualized.
Not sure about duct leakage, but air leakage is included. You just have to scan through all the parameters in the model setup. Look at minute 3:51 in the video; it's that screen.
Thank you - great starting point for beginners! Is there a way to model buildings with a footprint that has more complex geometry?
Super helpful thank you
Does this program only work for systems using solar energy?
I have a question.is there a possibility to enter the occupation planing or the density of occupancy in beopt
I have a question. How did you get Dview? I am not able to find it in my project.

Thank you so much. Can you also tell me how to change the air leakage percentage. lets say if i want to find the energy use if the duct leakage is 15%

How do you output and idf file?
Super helpful thank you
