Hey! Great build. How did you get the barrels? Did you carry them in?
Thank you! And where did you see barrels? I didn't carry anything into this settlement
Hi-rise! Ha ha! Brilliant.
I found this very useful, thank you.
I can feel the high fan speed and fear for ctd through the screen
@TheCrowncard To avoid crashes with big settlements like this on my PS4 I always remove all free-standing objects after taking photos and avoid building too many ceiling fans and terminals. This was the most I could build in Starlight before I started having issues.
@NoModMaster let's hope they will use new engine and do some real optimization in the next one

This was a game changer thank you!
@@Liltrainerultraplays You're welcome! 😊
Another thing that seems to have an effect on frame rate is terminals. If you have a terminal connected to power it can kill frames. I've noticed an immediate improvement by storing terminals.
@TheInsaneShecklador Good to know, I'll keep that in mind 👍
Instruction unclear. I ust turned a mortar into an elevator bringing you 1 level up or down by crouching in it and moving it😂
Something about vanilla fallout 4 does feel better
No mod master, haha, I really need to play unmodified for once, my game has just become a cluster fuck of mods and modern guns at this point
I'm always glad to see this series.
@@FuriousMaximum Thank you FuriousMaximum!
I had to quit using them . I built a massive 3 story bunker sealed completely and it had a elevator. The buttons would spawn on a level above the actual level it was on causing it to be unoperable
@@chadsworthgigaII That happens sometimes, I just replace the entire elevator the same way I built it. (Scrap elevator, Add power connector, Snap back into place)
You should name the town "the wall"
oh, the things i will do for the commonwealth 😂. for real though i wiah i new this.
oh i see a minecraft player
@@G_Signer lol, not a fan of Minecraft but I love Sim City
It's so relaxing watching you build. In the meantime, I got to deal with settlement attacks, kidnaped settlers, a companion with special needs, multiple fetch quests, and heaven forbid the inevitable brief pop up (always during a firefight) that quickly flashes by, alerting me of something terribly important........ Perhaps it said I was receiving some emergency signal, and I have to try and remember EXACTLY what the pop up said, because I have like 6 different emergency signals all seemingly needing my urgent attention. Yeah, love watching the relaxing building, but I got no time for all that. I'm a busy man. I swear, people can't even squeeze toothpaste without my help.
Hi mod master keep up the amazing work
Keep up the good work man! Been here since the beginning
@@LuckyDuck4793 Thank you!
Love this!
the ceiling fan problem hits home for me, every bedroom in every settlement i was making had ceiling fans, all 30 or so and that wasnt the end of the ceiling fans, good to know.
I would also recomend dropping and then salvaging instead of breaking down in the menu. Its a small gain but it adds up. Especially for armor items when you need that crap ton of leather early game. They arnt worth much at all on the build meter but its something. Edit: also when picking what items to bring home, prioritize upgraded items over normal ones even if the cost to weight ratio isnt great. You will get much better stuff from the salvage.
Looks really good 😮
@@Theferdman Thanks!
@NoModMaster your welcome
good job reviewing the beach front property, one of the things Nordhagen is good for, purified water farming ;)
@@thepitster Thank you! And yes very true
Real sad you don’t get the red skull graffiti from this 😔
@jaydog7646 I agree, I was surprised they weren't included since they already introduced them in 76.
Noce tips, appreciated. However still settlers won't ever use elevators right?
Thank God! Finally, you can see those wheels that you'll never look at again, lol.
where did you get the wire mesh walls at 1:49?
Those come from the Settlement Ambush Kit in the Creation Club 😊
Thanks, I've been looking for them. I bought it and it is pretty awesome!
This is one of the best builds for this location that I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing.
@@mairirose5843 Thank you!
Okay what video of yours do I need to watch about putting a building to level out a floor like making them even I don't use mods I don't even know how to use a mod so I'm learning from your videos and I'm trying to find how to make a settlement at nordhagen but there's hills everywhere and it's ruining it for me and that's what I'm trying to find and all these videos and you mentioned it but you didn't mention what video to watch.
@safahmie When trying to build floors that are all the same height simply snap a bunch of floors together and then delete the ones you don't want to use. This leaves them all at the same height. If you want to change the foundation height for different rooms inside of a single building so that you have rooms with steps like a split-level home, then that is much harder to do. I've successfully done this before but haven't created a video for it yet. I would suggest when building on hilly terrain to instead build stairs on doorways since split-level floors are very tedious even for advanced builders.
Hi mod master keep it up 👍
Thank you 😊
No problem at all any time
This is good intel and gives me new ideas. It looks great for putting weapons on shelves that look like tools, for a general store (specifically pipe wrenches, and tire irons)
Ah that's a cool perspective too
It looks very nice, and you clearly put a lot of work into it. But Creation Club is just mods that you pay for, so the "no mods" label is a bit misleading - especially to those who prefer to build only with the original game and it's expansions. Still a very nice looking build.
Looks modern dystopian. Why would you want to replicate the look of commie blocks in an environment not suited for such? I'd say Fallout's settlers would more go the rout of making preindustrial style villages.
@Halo_Legend My idea behind the medium highrises is the sprawl factor for settlements. I feel it would be easier to defend a settlement that is dense and has a smaller radius. It also allows them to build some form of communication on the roof as well as being able to see a great distance. I also see a lot of the makeshift elevators around the Commonwealth too so I feel like the settlements would also use them.
good review of the slog, pretty spot on with your opinions and that covering of the pool is a fantastic idea and I am surprised I have never thought of it, keep up the good work, and how about some more settle building tips, please?
@thepitster Thank you, glad I could help. And my next upload will be Settlement Building Tip #15 😉

Great job. Glad to see the series continuing. I have a tour up of Kingsport. Main house repaired but the 1st floor kitchen converted to a makeshift aid station.
@FuriousMaximum Thank you, and very cool I'll have to check it out
this one does have it's advantages when building on it
@@thepitster Agreed, it's worth it once it's finished
The way I did that before mods was put a wall at the angle in the open spot and add the floor to the top of it. This likely works better since the singles don't like snapping to the wall so I'd have the extra step of a full size piece then attaching the single to that.
@@A_Name_ That's a great way of doing it too! Good idea
Excellent trick. Thank you. Please have a look at doing something about lifts on settlements.

You taught me a new trick. Thank you.
No problem 😊
Amazing details bro🔥How you make the items stay static like that? Won't the npcs knock down the bathrobes or clothes, items on tables? Need the secret formula for my gameplay lol 😆
@Skyangel1014 Thank you! And I only place items before taking videos or photos but to avoid NPCs knocking down items even while filming I built the bar for example in a way that keeps the vendor a safe distance from the displayed bottles. Other objects you see near settlers I usually place while they are sitting there so I know they won't knock the item over if someone sits there again. The objects in rooms can easily be knocked down but settlers don't go in the rooms very often.
