Live infront of the mark, grotto road. Happily make you a pulley mast to get a decent cod up.
Ahhh cheers Adam mate, Live two minutes away myself, haha don’t think I’d fish that spot ever again after it’s all fallen away…pretty scary to be fair..learned a lot from that session and managed to get a lump up north row on my Tod since, but I’ve always been intrigued by those pulley masts like

Me and my mate were to the right of you a couple of sundays back, at Snab Point. Dont know where that rain came from but that soon passed and it turned hot again.

Tell you what mate…If you fish cliffs or anything with a sheer drop there unbeatable, but the second you start taking them on beaches and using them a lot and your not absolutely immaculate with cleaning them after then they seem to not last long at all…I’ll not be getting another, either saragosa or an ultegra ci4 again for me
Won't be long and we'll be dusting off the winter gear.

Loved the video. I used to fish the North East regularly with my Dad when I was young lad and having recently moved back to the NE you’ve inspired me to dig out all my old fishing gear and give it another crack! Tight lines

OOF......hard to take anything positive from things like that....bar its character building.. i would not put any faith in an egg-beaters for fishing high spots....
Scary thing about that is that entire area iam standing on collapsed into the sea weeks later

Haha belta. I was in lennys couple weeks back for 1st time getting a rod stand and other bits n bobs. He was very helpful when i told him i was new to sea fishing.
Aye Lenny is a sound lad he will show you out unlike a lot of the other tackle shops
Buzzing this channel popped up. Am from bedlington and just starting to get into sea fishing (always fly fished) I recognise this mark from slippys videos also. Do you just park at the lighthouse? Great content BTW 👌
Aye park at the light house and walk left a bit and then head down the side to that spot…it’s a bit naughty but easy manageable…appreciate that alot thank you 🎣

You don’t have to haul goliath groupers up 90ft crumbling cliffs…my fight was with my reel kicking my ass not the fish

Drag is on then I tighten up before striking the fish…the fight is pulling the weight up a 90ft crumbling cliff…anything over 6lbs is a nightmare when you can’t lean over the drop

Which line are you using mate also where you finding your peelers I can find any for sale 😂
For my main line iam using 40lb braid..should really be using a bit heavier for that mark but usually in the summer iam using that, then move upto 80lb+ braid in the winter, rigs are just asso 80lb mono…the bait was just frozen peeler from a few weeks back…been hardly no peeler due to the weather and things, hopefully more start showing up over the next couple weeks as iam in need myself

I thought the pier was shut for repairs seen some ppl fishing of there months ago get there name taken and kicked off the pier I want to fish off the Pier this summer but I don't want to be kicked off there after walking all that way plus it's a two hour mission to get there from the west of Newcastle
The pier is closed for at least another year….i mean I’ve fished it closed for years and years but yeah they are actively asking you to leave now
