Cruised from Rome to Phoenix on the Erie Canal, started dropping in Locks 21-23. Crossed Oneida Lake and arrived in Brewerton and went up the Oswego River, arriving in Phoenix at Lock 1, Home of the Bridge House Brats! Unbelievable sunset! Lovin’ Life!

Locks 16-20 of the Erie Canal, along with Our Son, on his last day of traveling with us on this leg. Big climbs up the locks, rainy day cruising, but so much fun! Even had some bicyclists send us footage of us underway, which makes this video really cool!

Day 84, July 8, 2023. Schenectady to St. Johnsville, NY. Locks 8-15 on the Erie Canal onboard Lovin’ Life.

Left Waterford and began the Flight of 5! Completed Lock 7 and tied up for the night at Schenectady Yacht Club

Left the Troy wall and cruised over to the turning point of Lake Champlain or Erie Canal. Tied up,on the wall in Waterford and explored Lock 2 and the surrounding town.

After a long rest for the winter, Lovin’ Life rolled across the road and into the water. Splash Day! We continue our Great Loop and are excited for what’s to come

Left Delaware City into Delaware Bay, through the D&C Canal and the Cape May Canal. Along the way, we passed Capt Pete’s ship that he used to sail on as Captain. Arrived at South Jersey Marina and are looking forward to a two-night stay in this beautiful town

Cruised from Annapolis to Delaware City, passing 1200 nautical miles so far on this trip. Beautiful calm, sunny day enjoying the ride

Left Solomons Island on the Chesapeake Bay and arrived in Annapolis, MD. Beautiful, calm day on the water with a bunch of sailboats. Arrived Annapolis Yacht Club and stayed two nights. The next day we toured Annapolis and the Naval Academy which is amazing. The church was beautiful and John Paul Jones Crypt was truly something to see and feel. Full Moon rising ended the evening.
