With the wide end of the cone magnet having a voided core; could you not take your two cone magnets and face them in opposite directions with the wide ends facing each other and create a true void at center mass? Could this reach true zero? NGT is missing an important point, and that is modern scientist's experiments are based on their fundamental assumptions and their models. Results that don't fit their fundamental assumptions are summarily discarded. To consider everything can be expressed in terms of potential difference (the substrate at rest versus the substrate in motion / light at varying frequencies is a bridge too far for them.

Iron atoms enhance magnetic force and those iron shaving when magnetized turn into a magnet them self and attract other iron shavings.
