I Can Do It All vs. I Can't (and Shouldn't) Do It All with Heidi Lee Anderson
Ever tried juggling all the things?
Work, mom life, extracurricular activities? Clean house, toned body, healthy meals? Volunteering at church, keeping up with the yard, staying on top of emails, meeting up with friends, and organizing the toys? Not to mention, reading your Bible and being a loving, attentive wife?
Join me as I pull back the curtain of my life and share a behind-the-scenes look into what God is actively teaching me and I believe has for me in this next season ahead. While it’s tempting to want to do it all, the truth is freeing: we are limited human beings with time constraints and physical limitations, so we can’t do it all-and even better… we shouldn’t do it all.
In the end, we can trade that crippling lie (you can do it all) for the truth: There are some things in this season that need our focus, so there are some things in this season we can step away from. Sit in Ecclesiastes 3 with me, and together, let’s ask God and find out for ourselves what should be our top priority in this current season of life.

Jesus was Mary's "favourite" cos he was Mary's ONLY child. Virgin before, during and after His birth. This is why she was physically scooted up to heaven after she died. Orthodox Christian beliefs have brought so much sense and logic to my protestant faith.

Our Lady (Mary) had no other children. God bless you both! Great interview;) (if she had, it would not make sense that Jesus gave Mary to John during the Crucifixion. She would have otherwise gone with her “other children.” The words describing Jesus’s “siblings” can also mean other family relations or kin. 😊

Amen! Great podcast! I had a sweet friend who encouraged me to memorize 1 Cor. 10:13 years ago. I'm so glad you ladies finished the verse and gave the true explanation. When people make the statement that God won't give them more than they can handle, I try to lovingly share that He actually does but with purpose of going through those situations WITH HIM and that He would provide what they need to endure. Thanks for the reminder to rest in His power and not my own. Well done, ladies! May this truth sink deep into the hearts of your listeners!

The idea that all religions refer to one god is absurd. Only a small percentage of religions historically have been monotheistic. Throughout recorded history somewhat over 3000 different gods have been worshipped. And guess what? They were ALL made up! To believe in some sort of supreme being is just about as silly as believing in the tooth fairy or easter bunny.

WHO IS OVER ALL? Ephesians 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. GOD and FATHER is OVER/ABOVE ALL and that "All" includes the SON so they are NOT EQUAL THE BIBLE teaches that Jesus was MADE As Lord and Christ and as Son (ACTS 2:36, Prov 8, HEB 1:5), CREATED/PRODUCED/INSTALLED (Prov 8) , COME INTO BEING/MADE (Mat 21:42 - egeneto) and GIVEN LIFE by the Father - John 5:26 and it uses TODAY (Heb 1:5), and uses future tenses and is a prophecy in Isa 9:6 (Isa 9:6, - WILL BE) . If you are called MADE AND CREATED AND GIVEN LIFE, and NEVER CALLED in the BIBLE as Creator or Maker , then you are A CREATION. ALL FROM THE BIBLE From the Lord was this (this is referring to the chief cornerstone who is Jesus) , the word WAS is egeneto (made or came into being) - Matthew 21:42 and the exact Greek word used in John 1:3 - MADE, egeneto (came into being) - JESUS WAS MADE/CAME INTO BEING FROM THE FATHER , yes, Jesus was MADE/CREATED!, See also Acts 2:36, Heb 1:5, 1 john 5 Isa 9:6 the word Prince in the Prince of Peace means PATRON ANGEL also Leader. WHO IS the ONE LEADER that we have? Jesus. Now, that same exact Hebrew word was used for Daniel 12:1 which is used for Michael the Archangel. So are you saying there are MANY LEADERS now?

I love when you post your videos and I am taking notes while watching! My son is 17 and we homeschooled some of his years, private Christian schools, and public schools. We moved a lot and we wouldn’t take back our adventures in moving but would have liked more consistency in his education. I always told myself I couldn’t homeschool him anymore because I didn’t know enough and I was taking away things that other schools could provide so we would enroll him in private or public schooling. Then realize it wasn’t the best for him. This year we graduated him as a homeschool senior after pulling him from a private christian school and it was the best decision. I’ve had to have a lot of grace for myself for giving my son a very eclectic education. It was not the plan and I didn’t want this popcorn education but it’s what happened and God is still walking with us and loving us. My son is now very strong, independent, entrepreneurial minded, headed to culinary school, and driven for his future. Somewhere along the way, all of this schooling and Gods teaching brought all that good out in him.
