My combo for this game is the full F-Zero combo or Captain Falcon combo if you will. It's where i use my medium or small Mii character with the Captain Falcon amiibo racing suit, Blue Falcon kart, red rollers and either the Paper or Super Glider and I've honestly had plenty of success online with that combo, including on the 2 F-Zero tracks Mute City and Big Blue. Maybe you could try that combo for another video and then maybe after that the full Animal Crossing combo. 😉

The reason everyone uses Yoshi over the other characters with tue same stats is because Yoshi is and always will be the best character ever made... Even in Smash Bros Melee.

The pipe frame absolutely competes, and on some tracks it has a very slight edge over teddy. However, teddy/cat cruiser is going to be better all around. Pipe frame has significantly less antigravity speed and air speed than teddy, meaning that it will be quite slower on antigravity and glider sections, which are both very common. Pipe frame edges out teddy in water speed, but this is a much more situational stat than the other two hidden speed stats.

The meta is very diverse now and now there’s like 5 of them 🗿

My controversial opinion is that the landship is the best. It matches teddy/pipeframe in major stats and even though the minor stats dont add up but its so much better in the water that you have such an advantage on water tracks, at a small disadvantage in air & anti-grav. Plus it has the same acceleration as pipeframe.

The Yoshi + Mr-Scotty also misses an somewhat important Weight cap.

I noticed this too, one day it was majority Teddies, now it’s Mr. Scooties! I’ve just been chalking it up for a preference to mini turbo over speed. Though I think Teddy is easier to use since you don’t have to constantly charge mini turbos. Both are good

Well what if I don't want to play the meta combos and just want to play Circuit Rider Slick tires Hylian Kite Yoshi in peace? I'm gonna play offline too.... Totally *NOT* because the online hasn't been working since Wave 6 for whatever reason. It's because I'm so (not) good at Mario Kart that it wouldn't be fun... Also I'm definitely not very used to Mario Kart Wii inside drift with the Mach Bike Yoshi. No one's gonna read this far so *THIS COMMENT IS* (not) *SPONSORED BY BRED™️*

It’s gonna be dependent on your skill level. If you are good at drifting, and can chain MTs together well, Scooty or Biddybuggy (same stats) can be quite good. If not, usually something like Teddybuggy will be better. If you don’t know what to use try racing a WR ghost in TT that’s using Scooty and see if you can get a good time using their strats. Then try finding the most recent heavier/faster combo record and see if you can do better with that. A simple example is electrodrome 150cc. The wr is still (iirc) Yoshi Biddybuggy. But you will actually lose time if you can’t squeeze in MTs as effectively (whether that be mt, smt, or umt) due to lower speed stat. Then try with a teddybuggy or even mach 8 or something similar for more speed. If you do better with the latter, you’re probably not gonna optimize your play with Scooty.
