There was a "sequel" made to this movie called "Road to Hell" back in 2008 and was released in 2013 but it did nothing. No promotion for it and it seemed to only be released for a very short time. It seems to be a more violent film from what I can dig up on it and it was either great or horrible. Yes Michael Pare and Debroah Van Valkenburgh were in it as well playing the same charactors. Can't find a physical copy or it being streamed anywhere. It's like it doesn't exist but it does.

I saw the movie in 1985 and loved it then and still love it today. I replay it now and again just to reminisce the love affair I had with Jennifer. Wherever you are Jennifer, I still think of you fondly.

My favorite movie ever! Ever since it came out. I will be 60 next month, and I still love the movie just as much as I did when I first saw it in the cimema. And one thing I love, is that it did't evolve in a franchise. This movie is perfect as it is!

I love this thing, but it uses up the batteries quicky. I even put in 4 energizer lithium batteries, and it ate them up in about a month

One of my favorite movies of all time

I saw this film presented on a 70mm print with a stereo magnetic sound track at the first showing. Just as I had with Rocky Horror. Sadly that cinema collapsed during demolition in the 2000s.

I love Walter Hill's work (inc. his work for Peckinpah), but @ 2:20 ..."For some strange reason ...audiences couldn't ... genres". The film's just not that good. Don't get me wrong. I like it; I own it. But b/f digital/wifi viewers couldn't watch it a couple of times or pick out scenes or music. It's too muddy, emotionless & hard to follow without a lot of 'head's up' & promo. 'Clockwork Orange'; 'Crying Game': 'Blow Up'; 'Vanishing Point'; Blues Brothers; '2001' - all successfully crossed genres using great musical scores - Including Hill's own 'Crossroads' & 'Warriors'.

gotta fix these edits. the cuts between vocals are jarring, espicially when they repeat the same line

I was born in 1996, but this movie was still a big part of my childhood.

I’m listening to his autobiography right now and following even more in love with this dudes mentality- maybe because I’m a fellow cancer and I understand the emotional/brash duality…. But he’s so freaking intelligent and I think it’s so wild that I moved from Vermont to Albany and I was always obsessed with Albany because my family is from there so to know he spent that much time there….. makes me even more makes me love him even more.
