How to find safer supplements.
มุมมอง 7321 วันที่ผ่านมา
So how can you find a safe supplement if the FDA only regulates them AFTER they are sold to you? Third party testing. What makes third party testing so important? First, it reduces bias in the results because the manufacturing company won’t be the one gathering that data. Second, third party labs typically are hired by many different companies that have a variety of products they need tested. T...

I am trying to explain to my parents the dangers of raw milk and i keep hitting a brick wall. I hate when people don’t get that just because you haven’t been in a car crash doesn’t mean you shouldn’t wear a seatbelt
Interesting stuff 😃
the death is because they ran out of nutrients?
That or other bacteria have begun producing enzymes like antibiotics to eliminate the competition.
@ wow, bacteria warfare 🤯
Was this tested with PCR if so how many cycles
@@joshburke7176 this was tested using NGS.
good bacteria
25.000 died, 5 survived ... keep an eye on those 5
Humans are drinking and eating milk productos for thousands of years , But some dudes Say milk Is not for humans 🤦🏽♂️... Even africans survive drinking milk and blood for years ... These people want starvation thats all... Shamimg people that consume milk...
Rich people shit
💚 love you vids! Thanks 🙏
coooool
RAW milk does NOT go bad; it simply changes form. Raw milk rarely if ever gets moldy or becomes un-consumable like Pasteurized milk does when it goes " sour ". The presence of bacteria in raw milk is irrelevant as a measure of safety as the formation of Yogurt is precipitated by the addition of various strains of bacteria to milk and or cream. Only the type of bacteria.
This is a very good video!
I won’t drink from any fountain machine. What if a rat falls in it. No thanks.
What the hell state are you in
wait what kind of ice ._.
When I worked at MCD's as a part-time kitchen guy, the ice maker was in this back corner, always covered in dust. it was clean looking on the inside but didn't seal right. In summer, we had some issues with it filling with water. It was a constant thing to check the temperature and make sure it was working and required CONSTANT cleaning so mold wouldn't grow. I was told mold still forms in sub zero temps. Still sketched out a decade later.
All to save $4000, too.
Very very thorough with the media and air controls you are a pro
Might want to tell the McDonalds about this. Or the FDA or whoever.
Can you test office pens? Like from a drs office?
*prepares to be traumatized...* 😅 I once got HPV by using a YMCA gym bathroom. It was absurdly dirty, too. Thankfully the wart on my finger went away quickly. The bathrooms had soo many problems. I literally cancelled my membership that day and have never gone back to any gym or public pool.
Bruh I finally find an interesting video and it's only 120 seconds long....
@@JourneysADRIFT the next one I am making will likely be 20-25 minutes long. This was more of an appetizer.
check any machine dispensing icecream, those grow germs like nobody's business, and technically need to be sterilised daily.
Great stuff, you got a new sub! I'd love to see some longer videos though. This felt more like a youtube short
@@sabbat3870 thanks for the input. My next video will be exactly what you are asking for. It should be done in the next couple of days. I will be performing a much deeper dive into the microbiology.
Your videos have awesome quality for such low views, keep going bc you will definitely get huge
Thank you. This comment means a lot when the views are low. 🥲
Interesting , and you taught me somthing....
No one should want ice in the restaurant's already-rip-off drinks anyways. McDonalds and nearly all other restaurants put the VERY least amount of flavoring possible while giving the most amount of water possible. That's why fountain drinks have become more n more bland over the past couple decades. And even on hot days, pop is served cold and so it doesnt need ice since youre already being ripped off on the drink and wouldnt want ripped off further by more ice taking up the volume of the cup. McDonalds is a MEGA BILLION dollar entity and therefore utter greed when they continue to cheapen their food and provide unsafe food
Love your vids! 💚
@@SfJames thank you!
does it get rid of the gunk that has stuck to the metal fork and spoon
@@spearhead8453 while it may not get rid of the “gunk” it will eliminate the bacteria on the gunk.
This was so incredibly helpful. How is this not viral! I will most definitely ask for a COA and compare against this video moving forward. Something i wondered, do you think ompanies make a great batch of their supplement for the third party tester and then lax their standards/ ingredients for the public? I lean towards yes since everything is about money and not true quality these days.
@@kati3849 thanks for the compliment. Regarding your question, I have never seen or heard a company try that. While it is possible, it wouldn’t make sense because they would eventually get caught and sued out of existence.
Surprisingly clean tap water 😮
@@mac94647 I’ve seen in a lot of McDonalds that it says filtered water. I wonder if most locations would be like this.
What? Where do you live? Where I am there would never be bacteria in your tap water.
Bro you don't need to be a microbiologist to do microbiology 😭, I'm a science nerd and make microbiology shorts using patri dishes
Wow a fellow microbiologist 😄, well I'm not a microbiologist in terms of career and digrees, but a science nerd can still enjoy using patri dishes for experiments like currently I'm doing an experiment to see how long it takes for yeast to digest a wheat flake
Would be interesting to know exactly what types of bacteria are there. You do eventually need to pasturize the raw milk if you're adding any additional cultures for yogurts, cheeses, or ferments since the natural bacteria will outcompete bad bacteria and external cultures. The most amusing thing to me are that the so called health gurus don't drink the milk raw, let alone clabbered, it's usually a skim milk and it is pasteurized. Sure, you may not have traces of antibiotics or heavy metals from industrial feedlots but it defeats the gastrointestinal benefits some folks can get
Take the same raw milk, pasteurize it yourself, then test
You forgot to mention that the bacteria in raw milk is actually good for you, not bad. Misleading video. Further propaganda to demonize raw milk.
IM SO SCARED OF BACTERIA!
Go to one of your friends or relatives house and swab their kitchen sink. Probably dont tell them it’s theirs I wouldn’t want to know BUT I heard that the average kitchen sink is dirtier than the toilet in the main bathroom.
But you’re saying all that stuff in the pasteurized milk before pasteurization is now dead?
@@jsbuilds434 a lot of it. It appears one of those species listed did survive. The one named paenbacillus odorifer. I had to do extra steps to figure this out. If you read up on that bacteria you’ll learn it’s actually one of the most common ones to survive pasteurization and spoil pasteurized milk.
@ imagine the money to be made by the person who modifies one of those bacteria to kill paenbacillus odorifer along with itself during or before pasteurization 👀
Anti-spoil Kamikaze bacteria
This drazy
So there is only one strain of bacteria in there? I have a hard time believing that. Maybe the farmer nuked his cows microbiome? In my country (switzerland) almost all cheese is made with raw milk and the raw milk versions taste 10 leagues better than the pasteurized versions - isn't that mainly because of the microbiome? Is it just the protein structures etc. That make such a huge difference?
Btw I only discovered your channel a moment ago and I love it. Maybe I should get some testing equipment too and start testing stuff.
@@regimentsystem3306 it could be that the microbiome is different but it’s more likely that pasteurization has changed the taste because it is essentially cooking, filtering and homogenizing it. That would certainly change the taste. Also, welcome to my channel! Glad to have you here.
Never take health advice form an unhealthy person.
Instead of buying supplement for improving your health shouldn't a person do a test to see what deficiency he has and after that he buys supplement for the deficiency and while you take these supplement you should increase the food that have this deficiency so you don't need more supplement and vala In a few years in doing this repeatedly and taking more test you will be able to get rid of any deficiency you have Also make sure to keep in mind supplement are made for the deficiency of a specific mineral Not so you can take them to improve your health or instead of eating normal food(vegetables, fruit, meat)you just take these supplement and eat junk all day
Getting tests done and eating and exercising a healthy amount is great but the only downside to that i see is money since getting tested for vitamin d deficiency costs around 60-80$ im not sure about other tests though.
@@ababodboody1213 that would be ideal.
@@vivientan3029 well that aside are you eating 100%healthy with absolutely no lacking and you have a list to see what vitamins you get from each food you eat and you have your weight calculated İf you are then there's no need for a vitamin deficiency test but if you aren't Then you would need to think about it in this way which one is better spending 60-80$ for a test that could make you spend about 200-300$(i don't know exactly the price of supplement) since you probably don't have a very bad deficiency like thing that can make you faint Or you can leave it until you faint and get sick from the deficiency that will force you to test and when that comes you will have to take way more supplement for about 2 years to my knowledge which won't cost a little like it will if you test it now
Great information, thanks 🙏
good to know!
A lot of people drink raw milk. Those who have from a young age are immune to any side effects of it. Its not bad to drink raw milk, but not recommended if you aren't used to it
Wait till they catch something lifelong like toxoplasmosis, its not worth the risk
The answer is yes, it does have beneficial bacteria
But does benefits outweigh the risks of getting salmonella?
@maureenkelly7771 read the title. I didn't refute the fact that raw milk can be dangerous. I was just answering the question
FFAKE. ALL FUAKE NEWS. MY BROTHER WORKS IN THE RAW MILK PASTURE IN WISCONSIN AND HE DRINKS MILK STRAIGHT FROM THE COWS ALL. THE. TIME. HE WOULD CALL YOU A DARN LIAR AND A CHEAT FRANKLY. GOD SAID DON'T LIE!!!!! SIMPLE!!!!
I've worked in the data entry industry on personal injury. Not only does the government set the prices on CPT billing codes, treatment of ICD-9 injuries will get different billing codes for the same treatment procedure depending on the professional that does the treatment. For example orthopedic surgeons are qualified and licensed to do spinal manipulation but the billing code price is higher than that of a chiropractor for the same procedure. When the guild that lobbied the government sets the price in this manner people will still tell me with a straight face that this government interference is 'free market capitalism'. The reason insulin is so expensive is because the hundreds of thousands of professionals (chemists, pharmacists, etc) are not allowed to make it and sell it cheaply. It isn't even hard to make, just artificially scarce under the justification of safety. Handing over more control to these corporations through a 'single payer socialized medicine' bill will just give more exclusivity to the guild that has already been getting everything it wants for over a century. When insurance/pharma reps said 'managed care is here to stay' in the 90's at seminars they were serious about increasing their stranglehold on healthcare. To think congress will pass any bill other than the one these corporations will write is insanity.
Thats why you have to boil the raw mil first!
No pasteurized milk comes close to a quality raw milk. If you use raw milk to bake bread omg is it a treat. Use pasteurized to bake its ok but nothing like raw.
If it’s over 80 degrees for 15 seconds then guess what… it’s not raw milk. That’s pasteurisation.
@BBeowulf still taste better. The quality and taste is better.
