Problem Enbyd - Atebion arloesol yn troi allyriadau carbon yn adnodd gwerthfawr
Mae ffilm ddogfen Problem Enbyd, a luniwyd fel rhan o brosiect Lleihau Allyriadau Carbon Diwydiannol, yn dangos y datrysiadau cwbl arloesol sy’n cael eu datblygu i drawsffurfio ‘problem enbyd’ allyriadau carbon yng Nghymru yn adnodd gwerthfawr wrth i ni ymdrechu i gyrraedd sero net.
Nid yw’r ffilm yn ofni darlunio bygythiadau cynhesu byd eang, ac mae hefyd yn arddangos datrysiadau addawol ac yn dathlu arloesedd. Cawn gyfarfod â pheirianwyr sy’n gweithio, fel alcemyddion yr oes fodern, i droi carbon yn faethynnau hanfodol a throi dŵr gwastraff yn danwydd heb allyriadau.
Mae cynllun gweledol trawiadol y ffilm a’i thrac sain bywiog yn gosod diwydiannau trwm Cymru yng nghyd-destun y tirweddau syfrdanol lle bu treftadaeth glofeydd ac allforion glo dros y canrifoedd yn helpu i greu’r economi fodern sy’n seiliedig ar garbon - a chanlyniadau hynny o ran y blaned - a bellach yn awgrymu llwybrau creadigol i iachau’r byd.
Mae’r ffilm yn ein hatgoffa o’r hyn sydd yn y fantol yn y byd a phob dim mae’n rhaid ei drysori. Yn ei hanfod, mae’r ffilm yn stori am drawsnewid, harddwch a gobaith ac yn cynnig cipolwg i ni ar y dyfeisgarwch dynol sy’n elfen ganolog o arloesi diwydiannol.
Mae adrodd storïau yn ddull ymchwilio ac yn fodd lledaenu sy’n gallu ein helpu ni i ddeall y profiadau dynol y tu ôl i syniadau cymhleth. O’n blynyddoedd cynharaf, down i adnabod y byd trwy storïau - trwy glywed storïau am y bobl sy’n mynd ati i ganfod atebion i rai o’r heriau mwyaf difrifol sy’n ein hwynebu, gallwn ddeall ar lefel un bod dynol i un arall.
Mae storïau yn caniatáu i ni agor ein meddyliau a’n teimladau, a meddwl am yr arloesedd gwyddonol sydd wrth wraidd prosiect RICE a pham mae hynny mor bwysig. Mae Canolfan Adrodd Storïau George Ewart Evans ym Mhrifysgol De Cymru wedi casglu mwy na 50 o storïau a chreu ffilm ddogfen sy’n para 30 munud yn rhan o brosiect RICE, sef prosiect cydweithredol rhyngddisgyblaethol unigryw sy’n dod â storiwyr a pheirianwyr ynghyd i ganfod gobaith yn wyneb anhrefn yr hinsawdd.

Can green hydrogen really help heavy industry to decarbonise? | FT Rethink
มุมมอง 3752 ปีที่แล้ว
This video from FT Rethink highlights the work the RICE project and ESRI has been doing with Hanson Cement in Port Talbot to establish a green hydrogen demonstration unit at the plant. The unit generates hydrogen through wind, solar and rainwater, which is fed into the burner on site to reduce the amount of natural gas burned, thus reducing CO2 emissions. Heavy industries must decarbonise drama...

RICE has many female researchers central to our research and the decarbonisation agend. They are women from diverse backgrounds highlighting their work and experiences within STEM and the field of engineering. From being taken seriously to being able to see the big picture. There are challenges to being a woman in what is typically, but wrongly, considered a male environment. RICE researchers D...

So algae consume co2 to make oxygen, and the algae itself can be used for so many things. Is there information on how much co2 it can consume and how much algae you need?

Agora precisam comecar a jogar . E aumentar o time de jogadores dessa modalidade na bola Terra.

Carbon Neg Hydrogen from Algae( link below), no need for energy intensive Electrolysis that even if powered by ‘renewables’ still involves Ecological Destruction & Poisoning to make and dispose of PV Solar & Wind/Hydro Power. That is causing and funding armed conflicts in DRC & CAR, causing severe birth malformations in local communities from Ore processing etc. th-cam.com/video/HrliFISKcCM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KVJQ-Mhk7zzIe76b

Reducing carbon emissions by spending millions on collecting and storing carbon dioxide does not appear to be a particularly creative solution. Perhaps purchasing some areas of virgin forest would be the bettter option. There are still large areas of near undisturbed forest that could be reserved not only for carbon retaining qualities, but also as a measure to ensure conservation of nature as a whole . Such reserves would surely also be of interest to tourism as an additional benefit. There are potential areas in Guyana, Formerly British Guyana that spring to mind as an example. Guyana is one of the least densely populated countries on earth, 83000 square miles, 80% of which still consist of tropical forest.

What he is doing is the economic evaluation of the green technologies being developed and introduced by the RICE academics and industrial collaborators. At this point, these technologies are prototypes - his job is to calculate the costs of the technologies when they are ready to be mass produced for sale/use with companies in the same sector and those in other sectors that could benefit from these solutions to green production and waste recovery from industrial processes.

100% efficiency? The demonstration model took the energy from a 500w work light and turned it into barely enough electricity to run a tiny indicator bulb.
