    If the biggest selling point is credit score buildup, he shan’t coax people into credit card spending like that. Better solution is spend on credit for a while until the score is built. The score isn’t going anywhere and then just switch back to debit. Also he definitely omitted the security issue. Indeed credit fraud doesn’t hold card holder responsible but card losses do (swipes don’t require password). But debit (at least in my country) require pin for every swipe, which rids the fraud issue from root. So why not debit?

    0:29 does he no know what the hell a debit card actually is? credit cards arent a form a of payment...you dont get money with a credit card....they are fancy IOUs for SPENDING. Debit cards are what actually has the money on it...credit cards dont have jack shit.

    This is 1/2 truth. Use credit card for small payments, pay full amount due and don’t use more than 30% of provided credit limit.

    And I am a foreigner, I live in US 5 years. I have 7 credit card. 1 Loan. Perfect score. Never use my debit card for anything else than paying my Credit cards and getting my salary and investing it. All my credit cards I use in dedicated places. 1 only for dining, 1 for gas, 1 for paying rent, one for Amazon, and so on. All my card give me at least 2% cashback and tone of perks like VIP lounge for free when I fly somewhere.

    Ok, how the hell u pay your credit card without your debit card if u don't have a debit card? Where ur salary and other money come and lives? Yes, Credit Cards are the best tool but in hand of morons it will be death sentence. And U Frank, opened card for ur kids when they went to college, but it is late already. U must open when they are 16.     I suspect this guys experience of getting credit cards issues solved immediately, and always in his favor, is a bit biased because the banks are treating him differently to how they would treat a regular person. The more wealthy you are the less the banks argue with you about problems.

    I totally agree, always and only use credit cards. BUT I own a store, and over 75% of my customers use Debit cards. It is crazy.

    It’s funny how no one mentioned how credit is an enslavement tool, it dilutes the value of our money through fractional reserve lending.       In the states obviously. He was talking about abroad which you'll have to pay fees upon if you use a debit card. Some credit cards allow you to withdraw abroad with no fees.

      He is, but when you're using your credit card all the time in place of debit cards you get lower interest rates (because of your high credit score) and rewards like cash back, so some purchases are covered by said rewards.

      That’s not true at all. If you never carry a balance by paying it off every month, you get points or cash back on purchases you would’ve made anyway. A debit card is too risky, all of your money is exposed if someone gets your number. A CC is the way to go, provided you’re responsible with it.

    You spend more on a credit cards, all studies show this. I like to call them by their real name Debt cards. So many gimmicks attached to them all wrapped cleverly and attractively up by the snakes to make them big money. It is similar to Alcohol, not one benefit yet the masses use them. You think your smarter than them, think again. With credit cards there is only one loser and that is you. Debit Cards or better than all of plastic is Cash. You spend less when you use Cash. All these Debt Cards, Loans etc designed to keep you in perpetual debt.
