I wonder if this bus operator didn't realize that these New Flyers have the option to switch the door control from the buttons on the doors back to the regular handle in the driver's area, so that he could control the doors himself like a regular bus. Seems weird that CapMetro didn't tell their bus operators about this feature and instead left them stuck yelling at passengers to "push the button!" not realizing that they can indeed control the doors themselves.

don't like these types of buses on this route given the fact that its max speed is 60 mph would rather prefer only coach buses since the farthest distance between stops on this route is almost 12 miles

Houston Metro has the best and most diverse fleet of buses than any other U.S. city metro. The fleet is very vast.

22:25 NO WAY looks like i wasnt the only person to catch an mci bus on a local route also those buses from the northwest garage are quite slow (top speed 67 mph) usually coach buses go fast at a maximum of 71 mph

It's confusing if you live in an area that doesn't have a left bus lane, with its own left traffic light too, which is not your light even if you are the car in the left turn lane.

I'm confused. Where exactly is the bus driver going if it's a red? Is it not a double left turning lane, this is so strange.

I have so much respect for public transit drivers they have to deal with crazy drivers and crazy passengers while keeping everyone safe.
