Ok, 93% polyester means you’ll smell like hot garbage after an hour of work. As far as the 60% cotton, that sounds like it may work. I’m very interested. Might have to try one out. Maybe when Connor goes back to work he can fire off a few pics of his hat crown. 😉
@@beancooker Conor already smells like hot garbage, so… we are going to try them out and let you know what we find. They are supposed to be antibacterial and anti microbial and all that too. We will see.

Every time I go to AHC website I see no prices or ordering information.
because they don't sell direct to the public. The website and most of the information in it is for dealers.
@@CowboyCartel I've went to the dealers they listed in my area and none of them offer the upper grade beaver felt.
@@Man_Cave Thats a huge issue over the last couple of years. These dealers have not bought a lot of stock in the past and once the hat boom happened they are moved to the lower tier. This is so American can continue to service the customers who have bought hats at high volume for years. Best Hat, Jobes Hats, NRS, The Hat Store, Double R Hat House and some others all stock up to 1000x generally. There are others, but if you look at their top 10 dealers you can probably find what you are looking for. It not ideal and I don't have any say in the matter.
@@CowboyCartel That is such a shame as even 20X or 30X hats are commonly not listed at all. I will check out the sites you have mentioned, and I thank you!
What brim size u use
@@ChuteDogger 4.25 in most felt but I have a 4.5 chocolate. Most of my straw are 4.5
Does American hat company have a style comparable to the open road delux stetson?
@@squaresaucemedia they offer a dress weight hat, which is what the open road is. Like all American hats it will come open and flat so it can be shaped to you. My wife has a dress weight hat on the way and we will be doing a video on that soon.
I could’ve sworn as a whole during the 60’s 70’s and 80’s most cowboy hats came with a 7 inch crown and a 4 inch brim at least.

200X tells us nothing since there is no industry standard. Speak in English and tell us the percentage of Bever vs. other materials in your 200X and only then will the customer be properly informed.

Curious why they call it "cali boy" ? I'm from CA, 99% of hats here are rancher crown / George Strait style, the rest Tejanas. JB brims / rancher crowns are catching on with the younger crowd. Never seen a Dale Brisby style hat here.
@@DanBCooper I think it’s because it was made popular by a certain group of Hispanics in California. You see it some in other regions, but most of the hats shipped in that style still go to California.
