    First LG install using customer provided LG stat PREMTC00U and equipment. When I go into installer settings mode it shows the the unit is in Cooling Test mode and i can't change the mode to Normal (Default) Test run mode00 : Normal operation (Default) 01 : Initiate cooling test mode - I am stuck in this one. 02 : Initiate heating test mode Initiate IDU test mode. Funny thing is on page 26 in the manual it states the following. Test run mode (Code 1) After installing the product, you must run a Test run mode. For details related to this operation, refer to the product manual. 00 : Normal operation (Default) 01 : Initiate cooling test mode 02 : Initiate heating test mode During the test run, pressing the below button will exit the test run. - On/Off, temp, fan speed, oper mode button. So which button will exit the test run? the direction say pressing the below button but then lists 4 buttons... I have tried what i think to be all combinations of pushes to no avail... Any help would be much appreciated.

    Anyone know what voltage I should be getting at the controller? It's labeled as 12v on the back of the controller, but I'm getting 24v. Having problems with all the controllers I've tried and wondering if voltage is the reason. ODU: LG Multi V S. IDU: ARNU363NJA4.

      Just explaining that HP systems (2-pipes) can't be in sync mode like 3 pipes. In our market and for our customers (who I made this video for) in multi family heat pump jobs we have to lock and control the mode with our controls. Thanks for watching!

    • @billystanton6446
      @billystanton6446 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe if it’s a heat pump the system is in mixed mode. Heat pump systems need to have all IDUs in the same mode (all cooling or all heating). If it’s a few hours before it turns off on its own it might be an automatic back up issue. In which case check the outdoor unit for alarms.

      @billystanton6446 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately the PREMTC00U cannot directly change the occupancy. There are ways to do with the external on/off function and a function code. Depending on the overall controls you might need to contact your controls engineer to look at the specific points of the indoor unit and toggle to occupied.

    Thank you for the video. I'm having an issue with the circulation fan in the air handler staying on and it blows the moisture off the evaporation coils into the house and increases the indoor humidity to over %70. I have to keep manually turning the AC on and off once it reaches the target temperature so that the humidity won't build up in the house. Do you know how I can get the circulation fan to shut off when the outdoor unit shuts off or when the target temperature is reached so that I don't get all this humidity? My thermostat model number is AKB72955816, the air handler is LVN180HV4, and the outdoor unit is LMU36CHV.

      In the installer menu, there is a setting to turn fan off when not cooling. I had the same problem for years, and it drove me crazy. I don't know why the 3 different t-stats I've had all operated that way by default.

    Great work. The manual translation is difficult to follow. My controller is for air handler and works great in cooling, but for some reason has a 5 degree differential in heat mode....eg. set to 70 and does not turn off till 75. ...on again at 69. Any clues on this much appreciated.....2 diamond certified LG contractors have not wanted to bother with it.

    • @billystanton6446
      @billystanton6446 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on the product it may vary but if LG Multi V check that indoor unit function 15 is set to 03 or 04. Highest is tighter control. Default is like you’re experiencing. I believe they’re required by ratings agencies to do this for stratification.

      That's exactly what is happening. With my ducted system with a different thermostat (premta000). Did you ever get it sorted out? Also when you are in heat mode and actively heating, does your electric heat symbol pop up? Ours does all the time and w are paranoid it's using the electric backup undated of the actual heat pump. Thanks man

      @@billystanton6446 so if an esp measurement was never done, is it better to pick say a value like 0.3 and use the specs of that or not have any value set at all (which was the way the thermostat cane)? We are finding that not much great is getting upstairs (we have a3 level townhouse) There is also a setting that let's us choose either high or low, fixed or variable static pressure. Ours is set at fixed and high. Does that sound normal? Thanks so much. Greatly appreciate it!

      If it is locked (shows HL on the screen) it is likely managed by a central controller and is not allowed to be changed by a user.
