It’s definitely possible that his character could’ve changed through the times. I don’t necessarily think the Crow gimmick “saved” Sting’s career because at the end of the day, Steve Borden was a great performer. I think we made the connection that Finn was the leader based on how the video was set up and how Finn was placed in the center of the shot with others around him, don’t think that was an accident. Having said that, they have repeatedly said there are no leaders, but they said that before, so it just seems like they’ll go back around with leaders popping up. Yeah, I definitely think partial blame can be placed there. But at the same time, there’s more freedom in WWE now with those. Plus, we’ve seen Rhea deliver better promos and she just didn’t deliver well. All that to say, the point was that we haven’t gotten a good “why” from the story and that’s frustrating.

From what I remember they didn’t have a bad match. Summer slam 02, elimination chamber, 3 stages of hell, last man standing, wm 20, the last raw of 03 and the hell in a cell. Just great chemistry, story and matches came from that heel turn

Yes, that feud was absolutely incredible, and so glad you mentioned the Raw match, so many forget that! The HHH/HBK match was something you could always go back to, even if both guys were working with other people, the chemistry was just always there!

Definitely the Barry Windham turn. He fought Tully and Arn with passion throughout the whole match and never gave us as much as a glimpse of his frustration with Lugar. When he pulled the trigger, it was jaw dropping. Then he went on to win the US title and the Horsemen had their greatest run ever. It was perfect
