@pinballbypinpinfilms I wonder if they had them turned down fir the show..That has always been my complaint on JJP games, sometimes the flippers just feel too mushy..They were improved on Godfather and perfect on Elton John ..I was hoping they would keep the flippers like they are in EJ..that game shoots great!

They are turned down out of box this isn’t new info sterns come out the box all the way up

@@chinering23 Tron sucked, there's nothing to do on it and the artwork is boring, just my personal opinion.

@@pinheadjohnny5190 Yeah, the theme or art means nothing to me either and I despise Disney but the audio and gameplay is miles more fun. It's one of those games that are actually fun and not like chopping wood.

Hi Roca, thanks for your input. Many games offer different levels of game difficulty in the operator menu screens, or sometimes you can hold down both flippers before starting a game to access"tournament mode". The new Jws pinball machine even has different game versions that can be selected at the beginning. I do enjoy competitive pinball play, but I do like to teach brand new players on older machines with simple rule sets.

We are certainly blessed that Stern is making new machines at the pace they are doing so.

There was a streaming set up for this presentation that shows the playfield but I do not know the link. If i find it I will share it here

That is awesome you have one ordered! Gary did mention that they are still working on the new title and that it would be shipping as soon as possible. This got me more stoked to play it as well!

@@undanny they could increase the market by not using the cheapest components possible , the crappiest ply wood and screen printing that looks like it's been done on a $20 inkject printer. Once they have done that they could go back to using through hole components and providing a schematic .

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts unDanny. I do like the business side and I found this to be a great presentation. I learned a lot about the inner process and thought process over at Stern.

They want to sell pinball machines to more people. It’s strictly an economic decision so it makes perfect sense to expand the market.

The only problem with the Xmen livestream was they cut it off before ANYONE had a Decent Game. Drain city for 50 minutes. Keep playing even if takes 2 hours!

The seminar before this one ran long in the Q&A section so it was less than 2 minute set up time for Gary to talk. Only audio for the promo videos was from the little speaker inside the projector. For a handful in attendance it was their first time seeing the promo videos so i understand that they wanted to show them. Would have been cool to see the promo video with a great big screen and rocking audio for first time viewers. Thanks for your input PinballZine! ❤

Thanks for the input Mr Video. In this video Gary explains a bit about his thought process of releasing LE, Premium, and Pro and code updates. I would love to have an LE Uncanny X-Men (or LE Jaws …. Even any Jaws) for my collection. Time will tell but I think keeping your LE order will be a wise move

Naw I never received the first Jaws LE - just asked my Distro to cancel the order. I then ordered it again from a different Distro as I thought the game did have potential.

I’m not sure if other higher priced versions of the game have any more features, mechs and/or bash toys. Maybe the jersey jack website has a compare and contrast if there are different versions of Avatar?

I noticed that I was playing. The addition of a tilt warning is a pretty cool feature. I think Oktoberfest has an extra tilt warning warning award as well

Jero, you are welcome! It does have a story line that i do not yet understand. Definitely some great feeling, fun and unique shots.

@@sungleong I am a fan of uncanny X-men so I was more stoked on the news of X-men but Avatar has lots of fun shots and difficult shots. Avatar seems to have a deep rule sheet and I like that. Long line for avatar so I only got to play it once but it was enjoyable 1st experience.

That is what is killing me. I would have rather it had an upper playfield that you aren't tied to than a bottom playfield that you are tied to, if you know what I mean. Like an upper playfield you might be up there long or super short depending on how well you hit the ball. On this lower playfield, like ACDC, you are stuck in there. He was in there about 30 seconds, and it would have been longer if he could have keep it going on the bottom portion of it. It just kills the flow of the game to me.

When i imagined an Avatar themed machine before seeing pictures or video I also thought it would have a mini upper playfield and lower playfield for sky, main living level, then ocean under water. Price is price I guess.

I totally agree. Promo video looked better than gameplay on this video. Chick who came up to play after was hot. 3k-4k hit in secondary market is drastic. But if you are on that side pays to wait
