Thanks for sharing the knowledge, got some answers that i couldnt find anywhere. Currently have a 21 s plaid that im starting to rebuild. Repaired plenty of teslas up to 2018 and they all had the 12v deep cycle battery, the 16v is new to me. Do you have an idea on which vcfront will reset and which just need to be replaced? I cant seem to wake up the screens by jumping it with a 12v battery, seen videos saying i need atleast 13.5v and 40-50amps. Door handles and windows work but screens wont come on. havent replaced the pyro yet but figured the screens should work from the LV system as in 2016 models so i can get into service mode or even atempt to reset the vcfront. Im in Spokane and may need some help in the future if i dont get it sorted out

Hi, Don't have any SRS alerts. I was just checking some things in service mode on my M3 LR. noticed that the RCM module is gray unavailable LV_off and RCM current 0. What does this mean and can this be reset? Are you able to assist?

I'm not sure how this can work. To properly bleed the brakes (according to the manual) you need to take the wheels off, use new brake fluid (plus special tools such as a pump), then open valves to expel the old brake fluid and remove the air.

your not even connected to the car. that is why its not doing anything! You under owner auth request to connect remotely which i believe only works if a laptop is connected correctly somewhere at a remote location. you need to connect with proper cable and under ethernet options change your ip address to what toolbox is telling you to.

Hi, I have the same problem. If I replace it with a new one, do I need to use the toolbox 3 to do any programming or I can do the rest in service mode? So, is it a plug and play thing or still need to use the toolbox 3? Thanks

Dude! Same thing happened to mine a couple of times - then totally DOWN tonight. ABS has been issue for a year, off and on. Will start after cooling off. I think module gets hot, as it is near exhaust - burns out, maybe? Thanks for posting this - got me on track. Where is part 2, though? Not seeing it. Did ABS module fix issue? Thanks, pal!

I have a 2022 MYP I just replaced the pyro fuse, my LV seems to be dead, my question is if I replace the vcfront will I be able to activate back the Lv ?

At the end my one was the ABS speed sensor, bought on Tesla and used my local garage to fit it.

On my one did not work, I thought it could be alignment because I did hit the kerb ,however I have noticed an error on the abs speed censor. I will try to fix it now

i'm not sure if my alignment is bad or not, but I usually have to keep my steering wheel slightly off to the right (about 4 degrees) to drive straight. Can i fix that issue using the Chassis > Alignment & Tires > Clear Applied Offset option to fix this? Note: Right now, the Applied Offset value is at 3.7degree (I'm on my original tires, 2023 Model 3SR). Does this mean my alignment is off?

I've got the S1 H13 9008s which are a lot brighter than the H11s you bought and they're WAAAAY brighter than the halogens that were in it. That's an important distinction between all these lights, there are variations of each one so take that into consideration. 🤘😁🤘

Bro. In the video, when you say tires must be aligned, do you mean taking it to mechanic to get them aligned and then do the alignment on the screen ? Or do you mean align the tires using steering wheel and touching the screen options ?

@TeslaFanz Mechanic disconnected the rear seat belt and connected the 12V battery (his mistake). Now the SRS light is on and won't go off. What to do? The car has not been in an accident. The car was in Service mode and still is in it.

Where do I find the software? What cable are you using to connect to laptop ? My service mode is not loading just the spinning circle. Also at the bottom it says GTW Locked! Last time car was software updated was in October 2023. The car is showing it’s downloading another update but it’s stuck at 100% not completing download it’s like frozen ? You think I am wasting my time just get new VCfront ?

Why did you change the vcfront? I have a problem on my Tesla model 3, the cameras, autopilot and the navigation have stopped working, Tesla have said its the car computer that needs replacing, but another person on a forum advised me it could be the VCFRONT, do you have any ideas?

You can also use service mode to check srs system. Do you have a srs light on?

like your video- Can i check with you , I ve not done any of the things you mentioned yet, but i bought a copart insurance car (NOT Driving/running) . seatbelts and curtains airbags and radiator damage, sorted the radiator , but 2 weeks before i get airbags back. My question is my screen in service mode , just keep spinning -im connect to my wifi via home and it shows software update available but just doesnt download so i cannot download firmware - do i need to change the VRfront unit or should i get the "toolbox" and do a software update ( will it work) or should i do VCfront crash data rest via toolbox. my car is a MOdel 3 on a Dec 2022.
