I know I'm about 4 years too late, but I came across this, and I just wanted to say This set of visuals for such a gorgeously heartbreaking song made me cry. The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite musicals, and I sat on my bed, mouthing the words as your characters sang. The color dynamic, the facial expressions, the body language. Absolutely phenomenal. I hope (however unlikely it might be) that you make more with these characters, because I have fallen in love with their dynamic, their personalities, and their designs. Silver reminds me of a character I played in D&D a few years ago, so it makes my heart smile seeing him chase after Jalen like that.

Theory: Jalen was involved in some sort of accident and silver and everyone else thought he was dead (that you've come back to life). In reality, Jalen wasn't dead but badly injured and he made a deal with a demon to stay alive. When the black comes into Jalen's face, it is the demon controling him. In the end, he was going to kill silver in revenge but ended up forgiving her. Then the demon took control of Jalen and shot silver. Horrified at what he did, Jalen cuts the deal with the demon and turns the gun on himself. Thank you for bothering to read this!
