are you self taught ? Modern D is very nice :)
@calikokat100 yes and no. I started when I was around 10. My first teacher was a church musician and I played it all, Czerny, Bach, etc. At the age of 15 I switched my teacher to a non classical music one. Looking back it probably was a mistake as more foundation is always better. I quit lessons at about 18 and didn't play as much as I used a couple of years. Mostly because I had no good sounding piano at home. Ever since I started upload here on TH-cam I really started going back playing a lot. Finally with the Modern D the sound is right again. The Roland Fantom 8 is good enough for the touch feeling. However, I am looking into getting a Steinway soon once I got the space in our new house :-) So no I am not self taught playing the piano, BUT I am self taught playing other stuff than Bach :-)
Fur Elise
sounds good! :-)
Had to listen to it for a couple of times. Can’t decide if I like the first part more or the second. Though I like that it ends like it begins 👍
I think the first part is more obvious as it is known by a lot of people, but I like the second part more. Down in the lower keys the F chord sound feels so good.
It really feels like it is a perfect fit for blues
thank you, yes you are right. had the same feeling while figuring out how to play it. its a natural fit
What other classical composer should I ‘bluesify’ next?
BAD SOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh this is great. Congratulations you are my first hate comment ever ;-)
😂 .... O jogador é indiscutível, mandou muito bem nas teclas, mas o som de fato é discutível, no entanto, aos meus ouvidos não chega a ser ruim.
Curious what is bad about it, please enlighten us all.

Let me know in the comments which Beethoven pieces you recognize!
Very nice playing and yes, it's one of the best Piano VSTs., and I have many of the best..( OT Rosewood Grand, VSL, Garritan, Ivory. etc,). 100% worth the money if anyone can afford it.
Thank you :-) Unfortunately I didn't have a pedal that supported the half-pedal action when I recorded this video. I think this makes a huge difference.
I'm so confused by the background music that Duo provides for this one.
Why is that?
Funny thing... I’ve never actually played the original Für Elise by Beethoven. This was my first time messing around with it - and in a totally different style! 🎹🔥
That is good, maybe otherwise you would not be so free to play with this variations.❤ Got my like 👍
@@bachtube11haha, yes this is true! Thanks for the like!
Man, I freaking LOVE the high registers on the Modern D VST piano!🔥🎹
As a classically trained pianist, I’m still figuring out this jazz and blues stuff... (feels like forever!). I’ve been listening to Jon Batiste’s Beethoven Blues album nonstop the past few days, and it inspired me to try something of my own with Für Elise. Hope you enjoy my take! 🎶🎹
Actually, there are 3 Supernatural piano packs and several EX piano packs. So, if you install all of the free upgrades, it's probably way more than 120. My favorite used to be the Symphony Hall V-Oiano, but the EX upgrade added a new Hamburg Grand V-Piano, which is my current fave.
Yes, you are right. I did the video before the update. With the EX there are way more. My favorite is the German Concert.
Its a mix between the beatles you never give me ur money, fowers, and boheamian rapsody
Interesting, I have to check these songs.

Permanent?
@LoopingPiano PLS explain
What is the Cords.?
A chord is three notes. There are many of them. The ones in the video are the root chords of the scale I am playing. The inversions are simply taking the lower note and moving it one octave up.
I like the way you teach the Gmaj It's slower ... For a BEGINNER like me😂
You are right. It is way too fast. Let me do a real video slowing it down and taking some time. It is also important to focus on the correct fingering which is completely missing in the short Short. Thank you for the feedback!
❤
❤
❤
I like the way you changed the melody to minor on 2nd half...I also love a picardy third ending!
Thank you. I really never thought about reharmonization in this sort of structured way you showcased in your video. It is really a lot of fun and leads to many new ideas. 💡
And I learned something else. Has to look up Picardy third :-)
I'd love to hear your opinion on the very last chord!
❤
Thanks :-)

I like every part!
Thank you so much for your support! It really means a lot to know you enjoyed it all!
2:39 might be even better ❤

Which part do you like most, please tell me. Even if it is none 😢 :-)

Loved how you combined Pachelbel and Ode to joy 👍 nicely played
Oh wow, glad you figured it out! It's been on my list to create the score for it for a while.
Still can’t dance to it
Haha, same here! Let’s just vibe and pretend we know what we’re doing!
beautiful playing but wow, what's your set up chain like for streaming with a vst?
Thank you. Good question. It took me several days to figure this out. Not sure if I find time some to do a video on this, but it is probably worth it. Basically I use OBS studio and ASIO4ALL. I did not investigate why it works so far. I just was happy that it works :-) there might also be my audio interface included, but not sure yet. I just did not have the time to figure it out, because I was just playing all the time… 🤣
My only problem is that I would need more legs for pedal actions… 😂 Does anyone have an idea?
This is amazing! You can be proud of yourself!
Thank you so much. It just sounds so fantastic. Especially all the things that happen with the resonance in the piano. Simply stunning.
Wonderful! Wich velocity curve using?
Thank you. It should be the standard curve as I did not yet play with it.
I did not yet have a half-pedal pedal for this video. It gets it in a whole new level…
This is fire!
Amazing sound. Especially Low and high notes, I've got a bit of an issue with the middle of the keyboard that sounds a bit less "natural", but still really good!
Thank you! :) For sure you could kind of fine tune it, but you are right. The strength of this library is in the low and high notes.
So good! How to set up connection for this? Do you need a soundcard or something like that? I have a midi - usb-c cable. My soundcard was fake ( i bought it when i was 16) so i gave it way.
That's a great question! Honestly, I'm not completely sure if a sound card is essential for this setup. I remember back when I first got myself a sound card (SoundBlaster something...) for my parents' 80486 DX-50 computer. I installed it myself, and my mom was practically on the verge of a heart attack when she saw me tinkering with such an expensive device (the PC.. not the soundcard :))! But to get back to your question, I've connected a digital piano (Roland Fantom 8) to my computer using USB. This routes sound and MIDI into my computer. I run the sound library on my computer, which then sends the audio back to the digital piano through an audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 8i2). I also use a LoopBack and an ASIO driver to route the sound back into OBS Studio for streaming. It took me a few days to get everything set up properly, but it works smoothly now.
@LoopingPiano whoa, thanks so much for the super clear explanation! I really appreciate it, it helped me a ton. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before I’m posting my piano playing on TH-cam!
Go for it!
started off with some bach, basically sight reading stuff i played years ago. after about an hour i was bored and started to improvise random stuff.
The audio is defective. Besides, I cannot understand why so many people rave about this VST. It does not sound any better than Pianoteq.
I streamed it live with an unstable wireless connection… :-( I did not yet try pianoteq, but might have a look at.
Sometimes it sounds distorted
Yes… I streamed it live with an unstable wireless connection… :-(
Audio at the beginning is really poor, due to some buffer issues. Got great feedback in the chat while playing and it should get better throughout the stream :)
so I think i figured it out with another stream. It is my poor wireless lan connection here...
Great Remix!! remembering my C-128. Greetings from Mexico.
