Great vid
Great video
Thanks!
beautiful ❤️ What was the intent of this art piece? May I ask?
Thanks! Hmm intent, it kind of just came out, but if i had to give a reason, then i wanted to draw a movie scene where someone decides to move their umbrella away to provide themselves the joy of rain falling on their face to feel something. It's kind of like purposely removing the thing you're protected by (Umbrella) to experience something novel.
Thanks for recommending this series! I've already watched anime and just began to read first volume. Year ago i wanted to read Sabikui Bisco but my problem was that in my country only few light novels were published (and It's definitely Baccano)... Although english is not my first language, reading Baccano is nice experience to began with light novels
No problem, glad you're enjoying it.
As someone who thinks of myself as someone who truly values art. This perspective is really relatable. Intentional media consumption really helps with the declining attention span of this generation.
Yes exactly, also it's just more fun to watch/read things with intentional consumption.
Wanna ask since it feels quite long alr, ever thought about making another Baccano video?
These days i tend to make videos based on what I feel like. I'm experimenting to figure things out, so if i do get the urge to make a baccano! vid i will. But nothing is planned right now.
@@animeechoess alright I see, it’s just been my Baccano itch has been coming recently so I’m just wondering in case you’re gonna made any videos that I might watch. I await for whenever you do it
Muslim folklore rare to find in anime😮
Great tier list! Btw, I'd recommend you adjust the screen capture so that the ads don't show on screen :) (or use an adblock, whatever suits you)
Thanks for the feedback
I watched anime and ova but I couldn't find where to read light novels online and from where to start them can you help me out? I wanna read the light novel online
The novels were translated by Yen Press and can be found on their website. Or you can find them amazon or kobo. Things like that.
I agree with a lot of what you said
I understand this so much that it hurts, I love drawing, and have poured so much of myself into it and learning it, but no one around me ever really ever notices the actual effort put into it, the little bits of composition and shadow and lighting, I just want to be able to talk about it further than just "THATS SO GOOD" "YOU EATING THIS UP" of course i appreciate that, but i really yearn for someone who is able to notice it- i wrote a 4000 character message about how much i loved the technique and little details in my exes art, i just wish someone could do the same for me- but youre right, its a tall order from the world, and that is a very important thing to balance
ive found that in random, newly made, less than 20 members art discord servers. something about a group of friends being willing to put themselves out there for strangers and not quite yet reaching popularity in server standards is always so cozy. ive made the truest friendships by doing the online equivalent of sitting beside someone on a park bench and striking some weirdly specific art subject small talk. maybe you'd get even close enough to make a collab and gush evor eachother art styles, who knows
Glad there are people that are resonating with this experience.
omou, having a specific way of drawing and one that not many resonate with or like. ye, it gets lonely, but I got my tiny corner for spectating others. gotta widen the genre and style.
keep going and thanks
Thanks
Diğ you read Black Torch manga? Check the art, it's similar to your style, but adjusted perfectly for action!
I haven't, thanks for the recommendation
I feel as though a lot of it comes from a sense of pride and not wanting the work they've done to be brushed off as merely talent. So what you end up getting is a lot of people that will outright deny that talent exists even as they bear witness to 4-5 year olds perform hyper realism with ball point pens. Now of course I dislike the other extreme of the spectrum as well, the idea that if you have "no talent at all" then something isn't worth pursuing. I had zero talent in drawing, so in order to make up the difference I had to hyperfocus and really buckle down. 6-10 hours everyday doing very deliberate practice and drills. Maybe I didn't have a talent in art, and maybe there's some kid who just has a natural sense of spacial form, color, and aesthetics and the kind of crazed focus and love for what he does that can fuel them in ways that I can't even begin to imagine. But that doesn't mean I can't improve, nor does it mean the kid won't one day slack off and get rusty. Their potential peak and my potential peak could be wildly different, but that doesn't mean either of us are actually guaranteed to reach our peaks. Basically this is a long winded way of saying: talent exists, it's a simple fact of life. Now are you going to cry about it or are you going to do what you want to do regardless?
Do you think you found your talent? That granular thing you're naturally strong at. I always wondered how do people find out thay they're good at something specific.
On the side note - I think it's the first time algorithm has recommended me a video for a small creator. Glad it actually happens
I feel like I've found something through art, but i also feel like im discovering more talents as time goes. I think there's this expectation to find "one thing" or "something", but as cliche as it sounds, that curiosity of how one is enlivened by something is the key. So instead of trying to find something, be willing to explore many things and then "define" what parts of that enlivened you. Note those things down and as you keep going you'll discover a pattern and that pattern is your talent. It probably wont look like what you think it would. Also doing multiple things is a talent too. Not everyone can do that. its a bit abstract and i might do a vid on this soon to explore it more.
Im glad too :)
@@animeechoess sometimes I think one of my "talents" is how I can do my 9to5 with dedication and focus and excitement. But years of therapy helped me realize that a big part of it is actually an unhealthy side-effect of an anxiety disorder. There's still something underneath that I'm truly good at, but anxiety brings it to the level where it's praised and unsustainable. That's super interesting and quite frustrating at the same time. The pattern part moves something deep in my brain but I can't quite grasp it yet. Hope I'll see it clearer at some point, so that I can use it to boost my art studies. Looking forward to the video!

speed paint is wonderful man! hope you grow big :3
Thankyou!
@@animeechoess all's good ^_^
You bring some really good points. I liked this video. What if an author ends up adding things they did not intend for accidentaly but it's a good thing. Like making a movie about martial arts that ends up being about art and religion.
Thanks. I don't really believe that positive accidents are outside of the author. I still think the accident comes from the writer, they just didn't consciously make it happen. I don't believe an author can accidently write something they're not supposed to write. if they do, it's because of some outside influence ( people etc).
@@animeechoesshowever true that is, people will always interpret whatever they see how the see fit, and a lot of times we’ve seen media blown out of proportion. An example is the recent game, stellar blade, the makers never cared about the designs of the characters being too sexualized, but when the beta went mainstream everyone lost the minds over the designs. What others perceive is not fully out of our control as artists, but what they have their own beliefs which influences how the see our art
Nice
Thanks
I think this happened to me for the past 2 years and I have gotten burned out alot and decided to branch out with other media and I've laid off reading manga and LNs at the moment due to the massive burn out..and i really want to get back on them even with anime I mostly rewatched shows instead of new ones even checking out their source material. Right now it's difficult to stay flexible with other circumstances and enjoy the media I like. P.S cool art and video keep up the great work!!
Yea the burnout feeling is frustrating because its about something we genuinely enjoy. Yea venturing outwards to other stuff seems to be a solution. Thanks :)
Where do I read this?
The novels were translated by Yen Press and can be found on their website. Or you can find them amazon or kobo. Things like that.
wasn't expecting you to have only 19 subs, you deserve more
Thanks!
Thank you for the amazing video It's been a while since I watched/read Parasyte, You did brilliant job breaking down how it shows emotion Thank you for all your hard work, Please keep it up m(_ _)m I hope your having a lovely day, Have a wonderful rest of your week, Be safe and Take care out there wherever you are (^=W=^)7
Thanks for the kind words! Means a lot. Be safe and take care too :)
Baccano got me into light novels. Hopefully volume 23 will be published. Unfortunately the author juggles a lot of projects Baccano got sidelined.
Yea he does. Agreed, really keen to hear that the last of volume of1935 has come out. Baccano! is also what got me into Light Novels.
I’ve been an anime only fan of Baccano for 3 years. Continuously watching the anime from time to time. Never read the LN but I’ll give it a shot!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it :)
Do it
You got both the volumes of slash in reverse, but am surprised you not liking Vol 6 that much since it’s practically the thing I’ve been waiting for all these volumes And Vol 5, certainly one of the weakest for me, didn’t know you liked it that much And looking at it, you certainly misremembered the volume covers and placing it wrongly Well am excited to see how you love 1935 cause it’s my favorite arc so far
Yea i really do love volume 5. I'm planning to make a small vid about it. I don't dislike vol 6. I can't find myself to dislike any of the volumes really because the way narita writes just aligns with how I take in media. Idk its hard to explain. But the slash is definetely one i want to reread. Yea i did get the volume covers wrong a couple of times, that would have been confusing haha
@@animeechoess I think you mentioned the thing you disliked about the volume was that the character ensemble is too abrupt, which coincidentally is why I think it’s great, you’re just so captivated by it that you didn’t even realize it till it’s over and it leaves you wanting for another reread after knowing that fact
I think Fermet became immortal because he was inspired by Monica enduring through death which which strengthens his convictions to enjoy life through other’s misery. I also believe Huey changed everything about himself because he was so inspired by Monica’s final words which were a celebration of life which caused Huey to view humanity in a more multifaceted light.
That's really interesting, I'll need to reread the last scene between him and Monica. Yea his dynamic with Huey & Elmer is amazing.
@@animeechoess Monica’s last scene is so beautiful
@@nicholasbodo4327 It is 😢
@@animeechoess It changed me forever
Just yesterday that I was recommended to Boogiepop because it has the aspects I love about a Narita work, and then a day after I saw this video
Things align in mysterious ways
Hello
Hello
Nice video!! And if i was an anime only who found this video after watching the anime then i would have definitely checked out the light novels plus yeah hopefully more people get to read them since what comes after what the anime adapted is really great.
Thanks man!! Yea hopefully more people get into it haha, its too dope to miss out on.
Shiet that's some windy BG noise ❤ love it
And this is why Roy is my second favorite character in Baccano
Another junk railroad as well as the side stories for the anime (not including the parts that were re-imaginings of events they had to skip over for time in the main 13), was based on a radio drama that was going on at the time Baccano was in production. It was later expanded and collected into Volume 14 (is actually a collection of short stories with the narrative framework of two (later three) characters exchanging stories to get more information about something else they're interested in, and expands on some details about prior events between years 1931 to 1934 (it's taking place in 1934)). The Baccano DS game further expands on the details as one of the accounts as well (since Upham has no clue who the hell the two nutjobs fighting in front of him are) with a secret reveal that was set-up all the way back in Volume 3 about the true identity of "Victor Talbot" on the Flying Pussyfoot.
It's interesting that a Baccano! DS game would expand on the story. Never would have expected that.
👏this👏content👏
Thanks!! :)
The hand is kinda sus….. Otherwise a really nice drawing maybe just little bit to dark.
Thanks for the feedback! :)
I liked this video but yeah for the adapted volumes volume 4 is my favorite but yeah I can't wait for your overall thoughts on volume 5 because maiza and czeslaw where some of my favorite characters from that volume plus some other characters that are the ones maiza was looking for. Plus yeah luck, eve, edith, and Kate where some my favorites so I can't wait for those analysis videos.
Thanks! Volume 4 is pretty great! I'm actually reading through volume 5 right now and enjoying it quite a bit, im a fourth of the way in. Glad you liked those same characters! Kate specifically kind of blew me away in just her short screen time.
