The facial features match the mask, at least from the side it does. As for the skin color, we don't know about that.

Was he black or white? I think it's safe to say that he's egyptian. Some today are a little darker than others. But they are still Noth east africans mixed with european , persians and possibly black. Who gives a shit. He was a king and on the other end a sick teenager. Died at 19! Poor boy.
Depends on how you personally classify black. He wasn't white because that was a rarity in Egypt. Also keep in mind that Tut's grandfather (Yuya) was like Asiatic. I think Tuts funerary mask was closer to how he looks than other Pharaoh. The problem with the Nat Geo reconstruction is every statue of Tut shows full lips. The Nat Geo bust has absolutely failed to capture Tuts lips and I don't think that's by oversight. I think they purposely avoided any features that could be called African.

Obsidian SeventyOne Keep in mind that Egyptian statues were idealized so the full lips may not be 100% accurate. Also, Yuya was Tutankhamun's great-grandfather.
