jewish genetics in the royal family renders their claim null and void. Trace the route of Zerah to find our real heritage. Get ready to elect a new King.
My Grand father was Edward \Ned Robertson came from Peebles Scotland to Canada met & married my Grand mother Barbara R Greenshields had my Uncles and Aunts and then my Father Robbie
My Mother, Brother & Sister-inlaw came to Scotland in 2017 for the Gathering and met many Robertson's I believe it was Gilberts 90th Birth Day celebration and got to meet him
I’m the wife of a Robertson who hails from Ayr and immigrated to Canada a little over ten years ago. I just gave birth to another Robertson last month, Hector Alexander. ❤
Well howdy kinfolks
My mother's maiden name was Robertson, her father was Eric Lyall Robertson, born in Montreal Canada
Are Donahues in the Duncan Clan?
It's interesting to me to see so many variations in the spelling of my name 'MacConnachie'
James Duncan here from Tampa FL, I did trace my family back to Scottland to 1275 cannot find anything before that
Don't let the name "Crumpton" fool you. My father's mother was a Robertson and her parents were born in Scotland and met here in their early 20's. But the Crumpton's had come up to the highlands in the 1500's and married Reid's and Duncan's, besides Robert's and others. So, I am a Robertsonby blood. Thanks
Anyone here familiar with something known as 'Crooked Crannies'? This is not a joke by any means. I thank you in advance.
I'm a Roberts and recently joined I'm looking forward to learning more about my heritage.
My last name is Robbie. My paternal grandfather was born in Monifieth, which is located between Arbroath and Dundee.
Proud to be a Robertson and all we stand for Saor alba 🏴🏴🏴
Thanks for the video. I am a decendant of Alexander Robertson 9th of Straun and his wife Elizabeth Stewart decendant of John Macdonald 8th Lord of the Isles and Margaret Stewart Princess of Scots daughter of King Robert II. She also a decendant of William Sinclair the Earls of Orkney who are decendants of Ragnar Lothbrok.
My 15th great grandfather was Alexander Robertson 9th of Straun. His wife Elizabeth Stewart was a decendant of Joan Beaufort Queen of Scots great granddaughter of John of Guant. She was also a decendant of Maud Bruce daughter of King Robert the Bruce. She was also a decend of Mariota Macdonald wife of John Macdonald 8th Lord of the Isles. Elizabeth was also a a decendant of Earls of Sinclair who are decendants of Ragnar Lothbrok. Many Robertson decendants have these ancestors as I do.
That's interesting. Joan Beaufort was my 18th great grandmother. We must be very distant cousins.
My last name is Duncan (Texas) and I can trace my fathers paternal line to a man born in Ireland in the 1700s. However, my DNA test says I'm mostly Scottish and mostly from my fathers side. I may or may not find more information on my ancestors, but I know that many Scottish people were sent to settle in Ulster in the 1600s.. although I don't know if "settle" is the best noun to describe what happened. I enjoy learning about the history of Clan Donnachaidh and Scotland
My last name is Duncan yas well my DNA said Scottish, Indian,
I'm trying to trace my maternal grandmother's Duncan genealogy. I've gotten back as far as the mid 1300s, then hit a roadblock. Many of them were around Fife. Any suggestions? Thanks!
The clan way of life had been dying for many years, or hundreds of years before this. The battle of Culloden was just the final blow. The clan chiefs were sometimes/often just as corrupt as the English. People were getting tired of it, and many decided they would leave as soon as they could. Some fled to NZ, Aus, S. America, N. America and similar places. The programme outlander is a much more real depiction of highland life, not perfect, but much better than some other movies. I like to say think of it today like a militia rising to take over a country where you live, and throwing you int he centre of the action whether you want it or not. That's essentially what happened.
I Love this! Thank you!
Beautiful video & music
Great video. I am a McRobbie. Can anyone tell how or why our name got changed from Roberson to McRobbie? This has always fascinated me
Alex - my name is Kevin Robbie. I don’t know how the name changed. My paternal grandfather was from a small town called Monifieth, near Dundee.
@@kevin-jg5nqthat's interesting. Thanks for sharing your info
There should not be anyone from the Robertson clan that is Catholic after what that cult religion did to our family throughout history.
I just found out today with my dna data on mytrueancestry.com that I'm a descendant of Clan Donnachaidh.
Nae to point out the obvious.... Donnachaidh is Gaelic for Duncan, or Duncan's sons, or sons of Duncan, known as a family of Duncans, or formally as Clan Duncan. Years pass and people still think it's just "Robertson". Donnachaidh does not in any way translate to Robertson, so aye the Robertsons hijacked the clan. There actually is and has always been a clan Robertson, however, this clan has never had a chief since Duncan, or any significance in Scotland. People around the world still struggle to understand Gaelic heritage.
Thanks for the video. I watched the ending amd seeing where Scottish decendants have been scattered 5 centuries with music I got a little choked up. I'm a decendant of Alexander Robertson 9th of Struan and his wife Elizabeth Stewart granddaughter of Joan Beaufort.
I am Susie Long Daniel from northeast Georgia , USA. My Grandmother was Florence Rich Duncan Long from Clayton, Georgia, USA.

A wonderfully done video. My father's mother was a Robertson and the Crumpton's married many Robertson's, Reid's, Duncan's, and others in Atholl. I'm proud to be a Robertson, and a member of the society.

Thankyou 🙏
