    Center screen might be started from UV damage which then leads to oxidation as the screen gets tiny holes. I'm curious if electricity can reverse some of this oxidation, reversing the standard charge of vertical and horizontal elements.

    I applied this to a Gameboy Color (without using this video as reference). After massaging the pixels, the result wasn't perfect, leaving the GBC unattended after-the-fact for a couple days didn't change anything. However, after giving it another try, and heating the screen with a hair drier, to the point of it become black for a couple seconds and starting the massage made the little pixels move easily, I also did it while the GBC was powered on and using Jayros test rom so that I can try Red Green and Blue independently, since the liquid moves independenly really, (red was the thoughest). I did a rinse and repeat for about 4 times, every time the screen heats new black dead pixels come up. After going through this process for seveal hours till the screen looked betterish, I let the game boy color rest for a day, and the end result after resting was magical, the screen was essentially perfect. I believe the mix of heat, pressure and letting it rest does wonders.

    I have a pocket screen that has what looks to be like a little dent inside the screen. It almost looks like a single drop of water on the inside of the screen. but its def not water. Its like the polarizer melted, or got squeezed into the LCD or something in that one spot. Idk. Its hard to explain. But just wondering if anyone has any idea on how to fix it? Cant find any info on it.

    They’re gonna just come back worse if you apply foremost pressure onto the LCD, you’re just dissipating the damage for the timebeing but the damage is still internal to the panel and will eventually make their way back through. Good enough for those waiting for the shipment of their new display, the rubbing alcohol part is just placebo.

    I tried this today, but my screen cancer was bigger than his. It took me a few hours, my fingers have never been fucked so hard, but the trick is: you have to move the bubbles from side to side with A LOT of pressure from side to side with a cotton swab. So that the bubbles are shifted to the edge and then disappear.

    i have a theory. I only find this issue with consoles at the flea market during winter when its really cold outside and the consoles are wet from the condensation. I'm guessing the cold + condensation create some sort of air pockets between the screens causing those thingies. Thats why they are moveable. I somehow fixed a DS lite a few years ago with this issue, same thing. Pressing the screen BUT i also left it daily in the sunlight so it would heat up. Eventually it completely healed almost on its own, with pressing the screen on those pixels a few times a day; Took about a week for it to be fully fixed

    • @ilikebeatsaber
      @ilikebeatsaber 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, I disagree. I had a ds that I forgot in a car over winter and it worked and still works fine. No screen issues. And it was a bit wet from condensation.

    I had a tamagotchi with this issue, and because the screen stays running at all times it would fix itself the more time passed, but when it was dead and I took out the batteries the pixels would come back after awhile. It’s a weird issue.

    Thanks Sir! I try it on my OG GBA screen (agb-001), and it's works. Not perfect because there's still some remains, and because it's a color screen, it's leaves some marks after applying pressure around the dead pixels. But it's barely noticeable when playing game, and it's better then buying new screen!
