What a baseline
People don't realise how much work Jonny mar is doing because of how the vocals are phrased slowly but the strumming pattern is really fast. What a brilliant song ... that baseline 😮

I was there, audience was punks, goths, was not the right music for us.
For people who were confused like me, from what ive read - this is genuinely 1990, not earlier as some people thought. Peppers were up to mischief and initially wanted to play higher ground completely naked or they refused to play. They got into an argument with producers who threatened to ban them, eventually keidis and flea agreed, but John and chad refused to play. The result is the two playing last minute with the Jonathan Ross House band instead, who i must say do a superb job in yhe circumstances - great guitar solo 🎸
They started as background singers for Sylvester as " Two Tons of Fun " then " The Weather Girls " in this song co-writen by Paul Jabara who wrong Last Dance for Donna Summer. Both Sylvester and Paul died from compilations of A.I.D.S.

😂❤ brilliant this energy of the crowd really helped the band play off of better than the recording even in the slightest of energy if you smiths fans can tell. I adore this bands lyrics muscians for over a decade now and forever will.
