We take our two corgis to beautiful British Columbia for a nice hiking vacation around the super LUSH parts of Squamish BC. We take our two corgis on a light hike around the Capilano River Regional park. There are many trails in this area, which add up to roughly 26kms in distance. I would say about half the trails are off-leash optional and the other half is "leash required" so just make sure you follow the signs if you do come here. There are many different highlights to take in like the Canyon itself, the beautif...

We take our two corgis to Vancouver for a nice hiking vacation around the super LUSH parts of North Van. The first half of the hike is pretty easy, lots of a flat spots, not too much incline or decline. The next section on the halfway part there's much steeper parts not filmed as we would have to carry our corgis across those sections as there are large rocks as a good amount of inclines that g...

These look delicious! But oats are considered a grain, just fyi ♥️
All the stuff you don't like is your fault lol
Love the rear fender. How can I get same?
hey my wiener isn’t salty
I ask because I have a Yamaha 98 Yamaha v star 650 but i was asking what the highest speed is that you have had your v Star at
@@BagleBoy-m4q maybe 160km/hr
@ alright we’ll I ask cause I’ve got the same bike but it almost hits the limiter in fifth gear at 100. I didn’t know if you changed anything on yours that allowed it to go faster or not
@@BagleBoy-m4q maybe you're thinking miles/hr
I think the clutch thing is cause of the oem levers. With some after market short levers it's night and day difference unless u need new cables. The oem seat is so comfortable! Hard to give that up. I did the rear fender delete my vstar 650 too but kept the oem seat tho looks great and is comfy.
I'm looking for a good set of tires for my old Kawasaki VN800 on my previous motorcycle, a Yamaha FJ1200 I had Avon Roadrider MKII fitted and these were great in all weather conditions in heavy rain I could easily maintain 120km/h on the highway without having to worry about aquaplaning, on winding roads I adapt my riding style better to rainy weather, unfortunately these Avons are not available in sizes for my VN. As I live in Belgium rain is no exception especially since I ride all year round, so I just want to know if these tires can handle it well.
Was the horn a direct replacement or did you have to modify anything for it to fit ?
That looks sooo good. I will be trying it real soon.
I got a 2000 vstar 650 for $50 bucks its my XL minibike to ride around the yard cus i have a 2000 goldwing and a 99 st1100 as my main bikes its a cool bike tho its really fun to ride around that bike looks sweet love the seat an fender
Omfg jax did you ever work at the west side kazuko ramen in edmonton?! If so im pretty sure i worked there with you and your mom😂 thats so crazy i knew i recognised your face and when you said your name i thought no way!
your name is jax.... perfection, lmfao
My last name isn't Teller lol 😂
Adriana Courts
Beautiful bike!
Thank you 🙏
Saved to my keto savory file. Thanks.
Saved to my keto savory file. Thanks. Too bad you’re not cooking anymore.
Wow, I love these ideas. Delicious AND ez!
I have a 09 Custom no fuel or rpm gauge, no signal cancelling, no kick stand lock, hard to find saddle bags to fit, not great on the highway for passing or fuel consumption, and terrible stock seats. But I still love it!
Did you have to rejet after switch exhausts?
Yes I did. If I were to do it all over again I'd do a pod kit along with exhaust same time and just rejet once.
This may be a silly question but how do you know what jet size to go with. Is it trial and error or anything specific. I bought my v star a year ago and it didn't run. I rebuilt the carbs and have got it running pretty well. I'd like to put the shorts hots on it but haven't wanted to tear it apart again without having the knowledge I need.
@@chrisfletcher3525 looks like the website I used no longer exists. Try to find screen shots for 650 CC&D
Love the review but ur saying that a gopro ($400) is better than this camera ($80) witch for this price point it'd a really good camera
that vstar looks sick
I have a 03 custom 650 and I installed the seat from a classic which is pretty comfortable
Yeah the original seat was much more comfortable. I went with style but my butt is paying for it lol 😆
Oh nornal video. Was waiting for a twist
Why are you driving so dangerous at that speed…🙀
@@reyzapata9375 I'm talking in kilometers not miles.
@@SnackDetour Oh are you in Canada or the UK.?.
@@reyzapata9375 Canada lol I guess I should've said kms in the video
@@SnackDetour it’s Ok. Bro. You have a beautiful bike.😊👍🏽
I needed this! Going camping with my son and his friends (5th graders) soon. I'm going to make them make their own with a certain set of provided ingredients. I think it will be fun for them and less work for me! 😅
@@trogdor1979 awesome! I hope y'all enjoy
I take the car for long trips! The 650 is great for short trips or bombing around the city! Mine came with rear and side bags for storage! Great for shopping!
I used satin black vinyl wrap to cover some of the chrome, the front fender and a few other things to better balance the look of the vstar.
Do i need the remote to use it or can i use and app
@@kylekin9450 I would just leave it on auto to be honest
Your bike is incredible
Curious when you ever need to go over 80?
All the time, km/hr not miles ;)
I bought my vstar after seeing your video about it. First year riding it I put 4k miles on it. This year Ive been riding everywhere as my daily. Hasn't let me down yet either 🎉
Had a 2001 for five years put 20K miles on it, took it Sturgis 4 times, 5 states, iron mountain road & million dollar hwy. Just got a 2004 Honda VTX 1300 with only 4600 miles on it. "Levels to the Game" Ride Safe!
Great video. The rear fender is really cool. Where did you get it?
The company I purchased it from no longer exists. So might need to get it custom made for your bike.
Did you do the ‘Gonzo Air Kit’ when you installed your pipes?
Nah but I heard a pod kit increases your mid range, but I didn't want to FK around with the jetting again
He said binding agent 😆 I'm asian too
How do I get one of these rear fenders?? the last one on earth is gone…
Custom at this point lol
Old school motto blogs I like it
Thanks for the video
Never heard of the second recipe
This is my secret weapon. I don't mind having to plug it into the charger manually. As more complexity can be more difficult to replace. No insult to the charging station technicians intended.
Where did you find TIN foil???
That's just what we call it in USA / Canada
These are all great ideas!
The roadrunner horn 😂😂 had my dying
He did already (explain how to grease the drive shaft ) one screw on the bottom to drain the old , one screw on top to add the new oil
Thank for the vid!!! Btw…I have the same tank design, 650 custom?
Yes it's and 2008 650 custom
Cool and where did you get that horn at ?🤔😊
Amazon or your local parts store should have it.
@@SnackDetour yeah OK and I want the one you have🤔
@@derrick.l1870 I should have a link in the description for the horn
@@SnackDetour yeah OK and I'll check it out and preciate cha on that 411
Thank you. Brief and to the point. So appreciated. I've never had a GoPro so I'm thinking this model will be plenty good for my first experience with such a camera. What a savings, too. I really didn't notice much difference in your side by side video or audio, honestly.
31 i get that lol😂
I have one as my Harley trainer once I get of my restricted license will upgrade to Harley lowrider
I have owned around 40 "metric" bikes since 1975. I have been riding Harleys since 2003, bought used. I ride Harleys because of the way they sound and the way they feel. I am not a fan of H-D. From my experience, "metric" bikes are generally more reliable than Harleys. They are just not nearly as much fun to ride. As for the shaft drive issue, pretty much all shaft drive bikes, with the exception of the Honda Goldwing, and the old Moto Guzzi bikes which use a completely different design, have shaft drive issues. I have owned THREE Kawasaki Vulcan 750s, two bought new, one used. It seems that every single Vulcan 750, from 1985 to 2006 did not have the final drive splines lubricated at the factory. And by the time they reached the first service interval where the splines were supposed to be lubricated, there would already be significant damage. This happened on my first one, a new 1993 model. Fortunately back then I was able to find a good final drive unit on eBay. I bought another new Vulcan 750 in 2002. That time I disassembled the final drive as soon as I got it home. It was completely dry, as expected. But I found it in time to save it. Those final drive splines need to be lubricated with Moly paste (not grease) every 10,000 miles. I use Honda Moly 60, which is 60% moly. Properly maintained, they will last forever.
