Cast looks very unlikeable and from what I have seen in clips it seems to celebrate very manipulative and malign behavior.

It worth to stay alive with all of 3 players per day online peak just to serve as a perfect example of what happens when woke authors decide to create their own product instead of corrupt already existing IPs.

The creator is also does not get it at all. He is very bad at social media interaction, prone to outbursts. I'm impressed that you actually completed the game.

The Abstract Daddy fight and that whole sequence really is pretty much the peak of design in the game to me. The environmental story telling and emotional impact there is just next level stuff. So well done.

Yeah, haven't played it myself but just experienced it through watching your playthrough but this pretty much lines up with the feeling I got. It clearly isn't a parody but it really does feel like one with how stuffed it is with Message and Meaning and Diversity and Inclusion. It's feels so much like the sort of thing that someone who is anti-diversity and anti-inclusiveness would make as a joke about diverse and inclusive games. And I absolutely agree that it's actually tough to speak negatively about the game because it feels like doing so immediately gets you lumped in with the.. idiots. So, yeah, is this this the worst game ever made? No. At the very least it's clear a lot of actual effort went into making it which is more than you can say about the real trash that's out there. But is it good? Not really, no.

Yep, Nightreign is a standalone co-op focused rogue like version of Elden Ring. It uses a remixed version of Limgrave and selectable characters with unique abilities and much faster movement speed to focus the game down into 1 hourish "runs" with many random elements. You can also challenge it solo if you want, but the story will be completely disconnected from the regular game as it takes place in a "parallel universe." This also kind of explains the one bit you understandably didn't pick up on, there are actually characters, enemies and boss fights from the Dark Souls series mixed in as well (plus some ideas and mechanics from Bloodborne and Sekiro) so it's sort of a Fromsoft Soulsborne mash-up set in the Elden Ring universe. Onimusha is.. weird. It started as basically a survival horror Resident Evil game set in Japan with samurai and freaky monsters instead of tactical police and zombies. As the series went on, though, it became much less survival horror and more of just a straight up action game. Then it basically disappeared (for over a decade IIRC) so it's anyone's guess what the new one will be like. As for what I'm personally most excited for? It's probably a tie between the new Okami whenever that does happen to come out and the new, revived Ninja Gaiden game that they showed right at the start of the pre-show. The series has been both excellent in 2D and 3D form but hasn't seen a new iteration in a very long time.. but now it's coming back and in a modern day variation on it's 2D origin. What they showed looks excellent and not just a prettier retreated of what the series has already done.

The extra loud slurping sounds are just for extra immersion. Really brings the game to life!

I don't remember if they crawled up the walls in the original game, but I used to call them "the spider nurses", and they scare me to death 😅

Good video and review. I think with the combination of your voice quality and your writing for the review, your channel could blow up. I think it needs just a little more of a boost, either music played with your voice, or a little more energy/dynamics/naturalness in your reading, or something extra going on. Keep pollishing the channel, and I legit think this could be a top video game review channel on youtube if that interests you. You have a great voice. You should maybe consider voiceover work too. I could imagine you doing a character in something like a Dragon Age Origins / Pillars of Eternity / Baldurs Gate 3.

An I hate that turn based point and click nonsense But disco Elysium. Fuck this game brings emotions out of me I didn't even I still had. Also Harry's struggles with sobriety helped me as I was struggling to stay clean when I first played it

What, Mali, you don't eat ice cream with your bare hands? I mean sometimes you just can't find a spoon in a decrepit movie theatre when you get the urge! It is a nice touch that you can see his breath though. Lots of nice little call backs in this stretch of the game (and some very interesting little details in Heavens Night, including James' reaction to the liquor and the items in the Lost and Found bin)

Out of this list I only care about stalker 2.

I'll be travelling for most of the month so I probably won't be gaming much at all lol I will likely be picking up Dragon Age once I get back home though. Interested in the Dragon Quest 3 Remake as it was one of my faouvite RPGs of all time but in a lot of ways I'm fine just sort of leaving it in my memories. We'll have to see. For those who haven't played the game before, though, this should be great. Stalker isn't really my type of game at all BUT I really, really, really want it to succeed given all the developers have gone through. It's one of the few games I'd actually consider buying just to support them even if I doubt I'd ever even install it.

Spoiler alert- She says right from the start the plot surprise of the game. Don't watch...

The game does autosave but the saves are pretty few and far between (generally only happening at major transition points) so you shouldn't really rely on them at all. Huh, didn't know you could just time him out there as you can actually fight him and damage him enough to make him leave (though it doesn't actually change things as the air raid siren just sounds after doing enough damage) Love how Maria just steps right into James line of sight as he's gazing across the lake just about to possibly remember something and then they pan the camera back to the lake and you see the light once James has turned away And yeah, the changes they make actually end up filling in a bit of a larger narrative. It's done subtly enough that if you hadn't played the original you probably wouldn't even notice (outside of wondering what the weird moments of vertigo are) but it really adds to the experience if you have played before

I think, this was the best part of the game. Really like Eli (cant believe I like the guys in this game most :) ) and the spooky facility was fun to explore. Fire - Talks are also highlights of the game.

You're speaking English but I can't understand a good 50% of what you're saying.

Since the combat can be a little tough, a couple quick combat related tips that I don't believe the game actually tells you: - There is a "stealth kill" system where if you melee hit an enemy from behind and that enemy hasn't noticed you yet, you get an instant knock down and can then stomp them out. You may need to turn off your flashlight and/or radio to do it but it's worth keeping in mind for some tricky areas - The dodge does have some invincibility so you can dodge through more things than it seems like you should be able to. This is really useful against the Legs since they like to poke and lunge at you a lot - Once you have your handgun, you can kneecap enemies with legs to trigger a crumple (which causes a single follow-up melee hit to be a knock down). It's not 100% since James isn't exactly a great marksman but it can be extremely helpful for saving ammo if nothing else

About naming the Superpowers: Yeah - Strange choice of Names for them. But maybe, it is done intentionally for give the ending more power (later more on that because spoilers). But you are still in the better Part of the game. And soon, you will meet another cool dude.

Don't feel bad about finding the combat a little tough. I've been watching a streamer I enjoy playing through the game and he's been having trouble getting to grips with it as well despite being someone who does no levelling and no hit challenges in the Souls games. He's playing on Hard but it doesn't seem horribly different than what I'm seeing in your play through.

Hearing strange background sounds while playing SH2? Chances are it's not Tyra's fault xP Speaking of sound though, yeah, they use the original music as well as new music also composed by the same person who did the music in the original game. I agree that "new Angela" does look younger than she did before but I always interpreted her as being younger than she looked before so the new design actually fits my perception better. Not sure what her canon age is though lol

Soldier on soldier... Im afraid it doesn't get much better. Watched Savvy's playthrough. She struggled we struggled now it's your turn lol. I really like the art style of this game... It's just... so unlikable.

Cant help but feel like the church still has influence there xD) Idk I feel like brain rot isn't just deep on the slacktavists side. I feel like anyone who pays too much attention to those kinds of things for too long ends up an angry mess regardless
