Hi. If solenoid is no longer functioning. It might be better to replace it. I used hightemp grease which i boight in our local auto supply.

Hi Jadz, Yes common ang may vibration sa ER during arangkada then gradually nawawala kapag mabilis na ang takbo. CVT cleaning ang isa sa pinaka basic na maintenance service natin lalo na nakabase ang pagtakbo ng scooter sa performance ng panggilid. kapag naglinis ka ng CVT icheck mo yung mga parts tulad ng: causes ng vibration Flyball (Bola) Check mo kung circle padin yung surface nya, kapag may kanto na yung bola. advise na palitin na. Belt ibend mo yung belt and check kung may makita kang cracks dun sa point n naka bend. If meron sugessted n palitan na. Back plate Slider piece Yung slider piece sa back plate if meron ng play or hindi na maayos yung mount nya sa backplate. palitan na Bushing check yung bushing sa pulley kung may play or hindi maayos ang pagkakalagay. yan din pwede magcause ng vibration problem. I hope this will help. Well kung icompare talaga natin yung ER natin sa mga japan scooter, talagang malayo ang performance and yung mga materials na ginamit. Ride safe buddy!

Personally, nililinis ko every 1000km/month which ever comes first. Para at least nakikita ko rin yung loob ng panggilid. Hirap nyan kapag naputulan ng Belt sa byahe. hehehehe

Hello buddy! Yes some of the car owners find it hard to remove the vvt solenoid and even to the point that they break it. Double check if all the bolts that mounts the solenoid is already loosen.

Also try to add little wd40 at the junction of the solenoid, then slowly pull it out.

Hi Ivan, Better to have it scan first your car using OBD scanner to determine the faulty code, I am not really sure if there is a relationship between vvt-solenoid and vehicle stability control.

Hi Sean, Not really sure what components are there in the intake valve cleaner or turbo truck cleaner so I cannot say that it can be used for cleaning solenoid.

You can try to dismantle the assembly and try to remove as much oil as you can from the assembly. Once cleaned try to test the starter.

Hi @@danielebbeling4056 yes it can be use in interior housing of the motor since it is mads up of metal. Just make sure to remove all thr interior components before you apply the btakr cleaner. Brake cleaner can affect plastic, rubber parts and rlrctronic parts so precaution should be observe. For the magnets im not that sure if you can use the brake cleaner.
