I love being a Nursery/ NICU level 2 - it gives me a balance to focus on the less acuity babies. In the near future, I will advance myself to level 4, but getting a dayshift position is challenging & that way I am already mentally prepared for the highlest level.

Even private drivers are not safe. I was in Egypt twice with two different private drivers and both time they acted in a way that was very unsafe and sleazy. And I would say that’s true for pretty much any Muslim country and that’s very unfortunate. Solo female travelers should think twice about traveling to these countries.

I just graduated from nursing school in May( BSN) and I'm having the hardest time deciding what I want to do. The hospital where I would be working and where I went to school is a 1200 bed teaching hospital with 12 ICUs. There are so many interesting openings but not quite sure what the job entails as the job descriptions are vague. Bone marrow transplant/CIT sounds interesting, so does cardiac observation unit, PACU sounds chill?? I'm not sure.I don't want to do med surg (even though i probably should) or work with kids. Any suggestions?

I loved this! Thank you so much! I am a new grad in a Level IV NICU. I have really been struggling with time management/prioritization (like when I’m doing care time for my patient that is due but something else is going on with my other patient) and report. If you have the time I would be great if you could make some videos on this. You seem so knowledgeable and you’ve experienced what it’s like as a new NICU nurse and now moving into an NNP role (such an inspiration!😍) TIA!
