Great playing man !
Some of them is easier to play than the other. Thats what is the real difference 😊
Thank you so much you is the first one I ever seen told the truth all these basses sound alike in many ways 😂 I was fooled by that for many years God bless you 😅
Proof that any bass in the hands of a player of this level will sound great.
Thnx mate 🙏
you play very very nice and the fender sounds the nicest
Fbass sounds the best on all positions especially neck. True pbass tone. Fender was 2nd. Nice tones but not as articulate as fbass. Ken Smith in 3rd only because it had a stronger bridge tone. Carvin only lost out to ken smith because of bridge pickup. Bridge sounded weak and lacked clarity
@@daltonbell2907 absolutely agree! You have described it better than me
Carvin for the win ! !
Thanks Jozef, that sounded great.
Great video!!
FENDER!
Carvin rocks!
Bro! You sound amazing. I am a BIG Ken Ken Smith guy, however, the Fender Jazz takes the cake in this comparison.
Wich the name this music? I loved❤
Playing bass is 75% fingers and 25% the bass...
@@DomenicoAzzolina for me 50/50
Oh yeah let's grooooove 😎
1) Smith, 2) Fender, 3) Carvin, 4) F Bass
they all sounded good. got 2 carvin 6 strings. 1 with jazz pickups. ,the other with the music man humbucker and jazz in the neck.
great, I really love 90s Carvin basses
1)Ken 2)Carvin 3) Fender 4) Fbass the ken and carvin were quite similar though
Wow. Fantastic playing. I have the 72 maple. Wish I could do it justice.
1. - F 1,5 - Ken Smith 3. Fender 4. Carvin
1.Great playing 2.F bass 3.Carvin & fender 4.Smith
Great playing as usual, I like your comparison style and that you dedicated a part for the B string. Keep up the good work.
Fbass, Fender, Carvin, Smith
They all sound incredible but the smith is so unique and articulate.
True to that
They all sound good with you playing them, but prefer that mid-range growl of the Ken Smith personally.
For my taste, Ken Smith takes the cake. Especially with pickups soloed - it's growly all the time!
As always Fender is the first choice.
Thank you Jozef. They all sound great but I like the F bass just a bit more.
Happy Holidays and Thanks
Ahoj Jožo! Pro mě je jasně Smith. Ale ve Tvých rukou hrajou všechny bezva. Potřebuju prodat ještě jednu basici, abych si toho Kena mohl koupit. No nevím, jestli to stihnu... Měj se! P.S. Všechno nejlepší do dalšího roku Tobě a všem Tvým blízkým.❤
@@milanplechatyify ahoj Milan, zajtra akurat pride pan z Prahy zobrat Smitha, keby si to rozmyslel napisem ze je k dispozicii
@@milanplechatyify a prajem pekne sviatky :)
That harmonic slide 👌🏻
The F bass sounds really really good
Fbass, Fender, Smith, Carvin…
@@borisbosnjak5920 yeah like me
1.Ken Smith 2.fbass 3.fender
Porovnávačky sú najlepšie
F bass, Fender, Carvin, and Ken Smith.
Zajímalo by mě jak ty ukázky nahráváš - jdeš linkou přímo do compu? Díky
ano uplne surovina, priamo z basy monster kablom do zvukovyk do DAW programu.
🎉❤ awesome thanks for letting me enjoy!
Wow
Salve🇧🇷🤙🏾
nice playing from one bass player to another(ive been playing 20 years).
Thanks Jozef, merry Christmas to you!
Terrific playing. And the sound … I have a BSR5J from ‘97 and it really sounds much like my Fender Am de Luxe, at least in my hands ) While you sound much closer to KS models with soapbar pickups, which are considered to have that really “authentic” Ken Smith sound. What’s your secret, if there is any? (except for your hands 😄)
I think that most of the secret of tone is in the fingers of the right hand, but if I may say so: I spend an awful lot of time setting up a bass guitar. Each one is unique, has its own anatomy, and all it takes is a tenth of a millimeter higher pickup above the G string and suddenly the tone is different when I lean on the string. I try to get the most out of that sound, I call it that the tone has juice and I try to maximize it with the right setup that allows me a wide dynamic range when playing and the maximum of this juice.
@ That is a very good explanation, thank you very much.
great that you're comparing 4-string models as most of people just don't catch the difference between 5, 6 and 4- strings which is big.
what a style man !
You have superb workshop in hands. Probably if you will take this KS and Harley Benton HBZ-2005, not many people in blind test could guess what bass is better
:) thnx
I don‘t like the sound of Ken Smith Basses, but I like your Bass-Playing ;-) Thank you, man.
@@clemensmeiss1208 :) thnx, for me the bridge pickup of KS is great tone
@ that is right, but sounds like a Fender Jazz Bass ;-)
These single pickup Bongos with the H in the Stingray sweet spot sound so much better than the 2 pickup models.
@@pCeLobster agree
Thanks Jozef, that sounded amazing.
Excellent playing. Hands down
