Part three 10. Only Allah knows who will go to Paradise and who will go to hell! Below is an answer which I found for this. Not written by me. It’s based on Ibn Katheer’s tafseer. It is part of the justice of Allah that He does not punish any people until He has first sent a warning to them and unless there is evidence against them. Allah does not treat anybody unfairly. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning). [al-Israa 17:15]. In his tafseer (commentary) on this aayah, Ibn Katheer (may Allah have mercy on him) said: These words, And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning) tell us of the justice of Allah, may He be exalted, and that He does not punish anyone until after He has established evidence against him by sending a Messenger to him. This is like the aayat (interpretation of the meaning): Every time a group is cast therein [into Hell], its keeper will ask, Did no warner come to you? They will say, Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: Allah never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error. [al-Mulk 67:8] and: And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups, till, when they reach it, the gates thereof will be opened (suddenly like a prison at the arrival of its prisoners). And its keepers will say, Did not the Messengers come to you from yourselves, - reciting to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours? They will say: Yes, but the Word of torment has been justified against the disbelievers! [al-Zumar 39:71] A person who has never heard of Islam or the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and who has never heard the message in its correct and true form, will not be punished by Allah if he dies in a state of kufr (disbelief). If it were asked what his fate will be, the answer will be that Allah will test him on the Day of Resurrection: if he obeys, he will enter Paradise and if he disobeys he will enter Hell. The evidence (daleel) for this is the hadeeth of al-Aswad ibn Saree, who reported that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are four (who will protest) to Allah on the Day of Resurrection: the deaf man who never heard anything, the insane man, the very old man, and the man who died during the fatrah (the interval between the time of Eesaa (Jesus, upon whom be peace) and the time of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)). The deaf man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I never heard anything. The insane man will say, O Lord, Islam came but the children ran after me and threw stones at me. The very old man will say, O Lord, Islam came but I did not understand anything. The man who died during the fatrah will say, O Lord, no Messenger from You came to me. He will accept their promises of obedience, then word will be sent to them to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them. According to another report, he said: Whoever enters it, it will be cool and safe for him, and whoever does not enter it will be dragged to it (The hadeeth was reported by Imaam Ahmad and Ibn Hibbaan, and deemed saheeh by al-Albaani, Saheeh al-Jaami, 881). Everyone who hears the message of Islam in a sound and correct form (and rejects it), will have evidence against him. Whoever dies without having heard the message, or having heard it in a distorted form, then his case is in the hands of Allah. Allah knows best about His creation, and He will never treat anyone unfairly. And Allah is All-Seer of His slaves. 11. Ever heard of r/converts to Islam, voluntarily growing by the numbers everyday? (Also answer used in to Q.10 applies here.) Also I’m a born Muslim but I enquired and studied other beliefs , I became an atheist for a while and what not. I myself also had to understand and discovered Islam for myself, it’s important for every born Muslim to do this. That’s why majority are very bad representatives of Islam. As many times they don’t have enough knowledge, or sometimes they are misinformed about it’s practices by their parents if they also just depend on hearsay instead of seeking knowledge and are following some weird practices, remains of islamically forbidden practices in their culture from pre islamic times; like clearly this guys perception was a race pride one(which was in arab culture, but forbiddened by Islam) without fundamental knowledge of Islam. Like some Indian/Pakistani Muslims have made graves into temples like they had before becoming “muslims”, they worship the grave instead of statues; which is completely against the fundamentals of Islam. Without objective morality there is no being a “Good person”. If it’s all subjective to one’s made up beliefs and self defined morality; there is no definition of good or bad in the first place. With that logic is a mother having sex with her son morally good or bad? Without any “made up beliefs”. This all just a refutation of what he mentioned. Apart from all this it would interesting to ask what he believes and ask questions about that. There are many arguments about why Islam is true, which he doesn’t even talk about( far from trying to refute) some of which you can also find on TH-cam. I have answered sincerely based on my knowledge, may Allah forgive me if I unintentionally made any mistakes. For anyone interested in Islam, please look at the message which is the Qur’an. Don’t look at the supposed Muslims as many of them are distracted by the worldly life and lack connection with the Qur’an and don’t read/follow it’s guidance. Read the Qur’an by yourself on Quran.com and see what the message is for yourself. or get the The Clear Qur’an by Mustafa Khattab. Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, addressed us during the middle of the day at the end of the pilgrimage in the farewell sermon. There is no virtue of an Arab over a foreigner, nor a foreigner over an Arab, and neither white over black nor black over white, except by righteousness. Have I not delivered the message?” They said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “Let the witness inform those who are absent.” Source: Shu’ab al-Imān 4706 Only thing matters at the sight of Allah is piety, Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. [49-13] 7. It had to be someone from somewhere. God choose an illiterate arab for the final message and that’s just it. Also majority of what some might perceive as Arab culture is basically Islamic teachings based on Quran and Hadith which was implemented and got embedded in arab and other muslims ethnicities over the years. That’s what you will see Muslims implementing over those teachings all around the world. It’s superiority of Islamic teachings, not arab culture. Other parts of Arabic culture which had nothing to do with Islam like for example kissing when greeting, tribal sword dance and camel racing etc. are not adopted or considered superior by non arab Muslims, because that’s their culture and not a part from Islam. "And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge." (Holy Qur'an 30:22) Islam is like a pure water. Which purifies and takes the colour of whatever culture it reaches. Islam accepts all cultures around the world as long as the practices do not contradict its core principles. Thus in one corner of the world Malay Muslims can be seen wearing dresses, having architecture and eating dishes that are very different from those of Muslims in Morocco or Mali. This goes with the basic principle in Islam that everything is halal unless clearly stated otherwise in the textual proofs. Ottoman caliphate was headed by turks which ruled over the arabs for more or less 400 years. “It has been narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Husain who learnt the tradition from his grandmother. Umm Husain. He said': I heard her say: I performed Hajjat-ul-Wada' in the company of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He said a lot of things (on this occasion). Having an Arabic name is not a requirement. But we respect the sahaba mentioned in hadith and the prophet’s mentioned in Qur’an which is in their Arabic names ; so out of our love of them we name our children with those names. And in non Muslim countries this helps us identify each other. We don’t view Saudi Arabia as the holy land, Again just ignorance from this guy. Modern day Saudi Arabia and its borders has nothing to do with Islam or being holy; it’s just a random result of whatever the Saud’s could gather in their state. We view Macca and Madinah as holy cities; for obvious reasons ! Anyways overall this guy seriously lacks a lot of basic knowledge; I can see why he is misguided. And he is himself super arrogant in his speech which is filled with illicit language, wide personal perception based statements, opinions and assumptions with some lack of knowledge based easily refutable arguments in the middle. 8. “And We did send Messengers before you; of them are some whom We have mentioned to you, and of them are some We have not mentioned to you.” 40:79 There are only 25 prophets mentioned in the Qur’an. And most number of them are Israelis non-arabs decent of Jacob(Ya’qub)AS and Isaac(Ishaq)AS. Who are not arabs, only 4 are arabs. But yes majority are in middle east. But I don’t see any problem with that; the purpose is not to make us know the location and the names of prophets; the purpose is to learn from their stories; and a lot of them are also mentioned to correct the false misunderstanding/claim about them and their actions by Jews/Christians. Some consider that Nuh AS was in modern day India. For Luqman AS again no location is specified, so theories he was in sub saharan africa. There are prophets mentioned whose name or location is not specified; who could be anywhere. Other religions still have traces of monotheism, some Muslim scholars theorise that figures like Kirishna and Buddha were prophets, based on the remains on Monotheism teachings still being present in some of their scriptures and others things which indicate prophethood. But only Allah knows best, we can only assume based on evidence. Why were they not mentioned? First we don’t know with surety if they were prophets. Second Qur’an doesn’t mention a lot of things, like how many horses did Alexander ride in his life, or the distance from mainland china to Japan. Does it mean Allah doesn’t know about it? Obviously not. He knows everything. The Qur’an is already completed, and it doesn’t contain the whole history of humanity, nor is it a book of history, it’s a book of guidance. So it doesn’t make sense that you look for what is not mentioned and they say Allah didn’t mention because he doesn’t know that. What a stupid argument. 9. -.- . The ones after are obviously not from God according to us. (Refers back to answer 4). Also prophet Mohammed pbuh, claimed that their will be many false prophets. This guy lacks even basic knowledge of Islam Hudhayfah reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “In my nation, there will be twenty-seven great liars and impostors, among whom are four women. Part one Point 0. “Allah has only chosen them” and “Muslims are talking about their religion everywhere”. We believe Islam to be the truth and the message from God. It’s not just for Muslims. It’s for humanity. And it’s our duty to share the message with others; to believe or not is their choice. There is no compulsion in religion. There is no Islamic country where full sharia is implemented, Islamic has a holistic socioeconomic system and it’s not been around in it’s pure form since hundreds of years. So there is no example for a sharia based country. 1. That’s basically one of the foundations of me returning to God. As the universe is created, and it has laws and systems in place even in at the quantum level, and via telescopes and science it’s already a consensus the universe had a beginning. If so then it must have a creator. If you say a prior universe created it. Then again the question comes what created that universe. One may again say a prior universe before it. And like this it leads to an illogical infinite repetition. It needs an uncreated creator to make sense. And that’s how Allah defines himself. He is the uncreated creator. The one who always was when there was nothing. The one without limitations. The one without a beginning and the one without an end. The first and the last. 2. Are they waiting for Allah ˹Himself˺ to come to them in the shade of clouds, along with the angels? ˹If He did˺, then the matter would be settled ˹at once˺. According the to us everything else is past messages corrupted, by humans and shaytan, and some are totally invented by humans and shaytan. For the ones we say are corrupted, we mean it was Islam, aka there was a messenger who informed the people of his time/area that there is only One uncreated God and only he should be worshipped, and not to steal, lie, worship creation etc. The purpose was to guide the people of that time. There were thousands of prophets, in different locations, languages, many also at the same times with each other etc. All with the same message. Prophet Mohammed(Pbuh) is the last and final one, and the one sent for all Humanity not just a small area or short time before another prophet comes. There is no prophet after him. Which other religion claims that it’s the one true only religion, believes in one monotheistic uncreated God, and actually believes it is for all humanity and requires to share the message to all humanity? About Islamic sects, which is true? One one. For that just look at the Qur’an, ones who believe in the Qur’an are true. Which means, First filter any ones who don’t believe God is one without partner and pray to others then one God. Next take out any who don’t believe prophet Mohammed was the last and final messenger. Next obviously take out anyone that don’t believe in the Qur’an and it’s teachings. After this all that are left is the mass majority of Muslims who do have many different sects/school of Islamic thoughts; but they disagree only on smaller matters regarding rituals. But they agree on the core message consider each other Muslims and part of one Ummah/Religion. So follow the Qur’an, believe in “ There is no God but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God” and believe that he is the last and final messenger of God so you are part of the Muslims, regarding rituals you can listen to different opinions and see what makes sense to you. About other messengers failing. God has given each human free will and they choose to believe or not, the job of the “‘messenger” is to share the message, which they did.
