Brother Arturs, please, the next time you do one of these very interesting videos, please explain what we are looking at. You were moving so fast that I couldn’t possibly see the labels you were filming, but then I guess it wouldn’t make any sense because I don’t know what many of them are anyhow without you speaking. The other thing I was wondering about was the number of doors left open that were supposed to be shut while at sea. It seems quite obvious that at 19+ knots you were definitely at sea.
@@dougthomson5544 I am not a teacher or youtuber ! I am Chief Engineer . Just wanted to share one of the best ship in my experiece. Regarding doors - All W/TVdoors shut all the time. All comments duly noted ,in next video will try to move slowly so you can see labels

We have 5 engineers, but not 1st , but they are young qualified officers
@artursauzins2189 wow amazing. I'm also ship engineer and I was 5 years onboard vlcc. In this video, she has many equipment compare with vlcc. How possible to fix and manage all equipment. Awsome.

Fabulous. However, still low tech. Nothing is new here. Same old tech we had decades ago, just newer. We still burn carbon fuels when we need nuclear technology like we have in military. We must stop using carbon and move to clean fuels. I just left a major cruise in Europe where they had to clean the diesel stacks, while we were onboard. Filthy fly ash shit was everywhere and ruined my clothes. Cruise had to pay. We need to stop.

I loved my brief spell on a container ship, loved the space and technology, some years ago now but it was a great feeling as a young man to be in charge of something like this
No UAW slackers here. It proves how these ships and their small but highly efficient crews are the foundation for a global economy.
Let's hope the captain hasn't left his nectar card at home when he refuels...what an absolute incredible masterpiece of planning and engineering.
