Black swan feeds koi fish

Even the swans in Hawaii practice aloha. One morning while visiting the Byodo In temple near Kaneohe, Hawaii on the island of Oahu I noticed that this black swan was feeding the koi fish. The workers had put a pile of food on the edge of the pond and the swan proceeded to feed the fish.

I'll share an experience with you guys. Back around 1994 me and 2 friends cedric and his brother keenen decided to go camp at Waimea Bay on a Friday night so the next day we could bodyboard well as we was getting ready to sleep on the sand closer to the jumping rock area we started dozing off this was around 1am nothings around and open at that time frame all of a sudden I heard the pahu beating and people talking loud sounded like one big luau I shaked my friend and told him a brah you hear that he got up and said yeah his brother as well woke up but we stayed laying down observing where the sound was coming from as we looked towards the mountain where the pupukea heiau sits we saw about 15 to 30 torches coming down from the heiau in a straight line going down the mountain and if you know that place there is no stairs or road leading down that mountain it's just straight cliff the brother hid under the blanket and I looked at my friend and whispered brah that's night marchers we watched the torches until we didn't see it anymore it was terrifying but because we were far away from their path it was somewhat ok and we knew better not to run over there and see what was going on fck that we respect our culture we covered our heads with the blanket and hid under it and made not one sound we had a very hard time going to sleep but after a few hours we managed to catch some rest. we got up the next morning from a long terrifying disturbed night unharmed looked at each other and said our people still exist and that was the first and last time we ever slept at the bay never again. To all foreigners who comes to our aina thinking they know about hawaii when the fact is you are highly uneducated about hawaii and the Lahui It's best to leave alone things you have no knowledge about messing around in someone else's backyard could get you killed and you can't shoot something that's already dead. so good advice anything that goes on in hawaii mind your own business see our island and just jump back on the plane and get home safely.

My siblings and I had a sighting of a Menehunne when I lived in Nanukuli in 1986. It pressed it's face against the screen and started to laugh a creepy laugh which freaked us out. It's face was dark like a native but a old man and it's head was only the size of a softball

Aloha, well they both have been serving shave ice in Hale'iwa for a long time. The last several times I had Matsumoto's they did not put enough syrup, line was too long and I prefer the smaller mochi balls over the big ones that Matsumoto's serves.

This is great stuff, I was told there were five islands but I was counting them behind your shoulder and that wasn't 5, then you answered that question and even my wondering about the surfacing islands too. I hope this stuff is spot on because I will be using almost all of it to share with my students to understand more about Hawaii and the plant life there. Keep making the videos filled with your goofiness and truly excellent information that do answer so many questions we have. If you have one on the rise and fall of the sugar farms or what's going on with the pineapple farms that would be helpful. C&H got bought out so I couldn't find out much about what happened to them. There is a site called edible Hawaii that told about the sugar cartels but only in overview it didn't name company names from the modern world.
