We've just had a wonderful week with Costa. None of the problems you mentioned. 🍻

The Favolosa is the Worsa cruise ship I ever sailed. I went only because there was a group. Beverage Program I bought a program that read "up to 20 juices." Absolutely misleading. Not 20 juices. 20 glasses of juices so on a 16 day cruise I ran out early. I had to buy an unlimited juice plan which cost 300 euros. Both plans cost 380 euros, that's about $420 US, I never paid for a beverage program on a cruise ship. I ordered Pineapple Juice in the buffett. I was told to go to the bar on deck, in the COLD. How's that for service. Dining Room You can't get coffee and ice cream. You have to go to buffet (deck 9) for coffee. When I got there, there wasn't any coffee because it's only served between 6 and 7 pm, the SAME time I'm in early seating. I saw a couple get ice cream, because they were vegans. I told the Maître d' that if you could service ice cream to them, it could be served to me. I finally got ice cream. You can't get ice cream because you have to go the "ice cream store." That's right. You have to pay for EVERYTHING" You get the idea. I'll NEVER sail on Costa again. I'm looking forward to getting the evaluation form so I can torpedo the ship.

I got an incredible massage. But the rest of the ship was terrible. The Favolosa is the Worsa cruise ship I was ever on. The gym equipment is terrible. There are a lot of machines for biceps and back, a few for legs and one for chest and one for triceps. They need dual pulley machines for real workouts, which take up less space than the individual muscle machines. There was only ONE foam roller and I was lucky to find it. There were Bosu balls. No medicine and slam balls. No kettlebells. The gym in my building has better equipment than the Favolosa.

Costa sucks

i watched until 4:40 and all i can say is that i didnt have any of the problems you talk about. the costa cruise i was on was this year

well. 600 people boarded in one port on my last cruise, no queue. all went extremely fast

After pandemic,the servis everywhere got worse. We can see not professinal workers. It is becouse the companys they dont want to pay enough money for professional workers. They employ people with no knowledge and bad attitude,but tge wage is low! That is the problem all around the world!

But it's hard to accept seeing some parts of my favourite ship sacrified by the renovations of the last years. Who told them to use these ugly tiles for the pools? Who designed the ugly parts of the buffet? These ugly new lamps or the furniture of the buffet. It's all new and it's so sad to see😢

Just a few days back. Ik had a great cruise on the Costa Favolosa

We have sailed with Costa Cruises twice in the past, before the Covid PLANDEMIC and those guys were amazing ! what a great experience that was. The ship we were on was called "costa deliziosa".

None of it looks like that.

The Costa decline In July 2000 I took the Inagural cruise of the Costa Atlantica, (my first cruise) Oh magic we were to sail from Venice, we transferred from Marco Polo airport to the Port, As normal we had to wait to board, but wow what fun, They had the annimation team and others in the boarding hall, all as a circus stillt walkers clowns chilled sof drinks and buffet food Yes it was two hours before our turn to board but what fun and entertainment On board it was great, the shows and entertainment and most of all the dinners Dinners were seven cources, the menu at the main dining room was on parchment wrapped in a blue ribbon and brass buckle There were seven courses with added Amuse Broughe between them We were upgraded from an inside cabin to a sea-view fantastic to a first timer We then sailed with Costa every year until we did three 21 day cruises Savona to Dubai Sadldly the service got worse and worse, until it was a platic main dinner menu, four cources of not particurally good choices or quality The shows and entertainment were still very good but the service got worse and the prices became ridiculous Sorry Costa, I still love your itenaries but the service is poor and the ships are now too big

For me the destinations are the most important. Whatever ship is going where I want to go, at a price I can afford... I'm on it. I think R.C. is the only standard cruise line I haven't been on.

Love Royal Caribbean cruise lines. We are Dimond members and loving it. We have five cruises scheduled for 2023. That will bring us to 22 cruises total. 2024 is just around the corner, so we need to start booking for next year.

Do not worry about missing the captains welcome abord or the later welcomes, the offers are cheap water cordial orange juice or the VERY cheap prosseco about 40c a glass

Hello! The boarding precedure, as you said, depend on the port at least, we only had cues în genova, for the rest, including Marseille, barcelona, cagliari, palermo and rome! Some of the problems you comented might vary on the regions of the cruise, here in europe you might not have the same problems as Latino-America, cheers!

The truth is, people are boycotting them since they ditched Steve Hoffmeyers gig. SA dont want to go on such ships. Now they blame dry docking for cancellations in April. Bad Planning crap. Bad advertising and decisions.

But you should comment you pay cheaper cause can be a mess but you pay less in compared other companies now if you want every every5ing free go another cruise full package

I'm Diamond on Royal, and I agree with most of what you said. The exception is the new theatrical shows, which have come down in quality. Not the fault of the performers, but the content.

I’ve had 4 cruises so far in 2023 & I’m not enjoying the stewards only coming to the cabin once each day. On my last 10 day cruise, many days my cabin wasn’t cleaned when I’d come back from my excursions in the afternoon! Beds unmade, wet towels…and my sheets were never changed. The stewards once upon a time made cute towel animals every night but now we might have one night w a towel monkey on the bed. RCCL has cut back their service & their quality. I’ll be sailing with other cruise lines after my next 3 trips this year.

So if it so dangerous...why are you there and why do go?

RCI is probably the greediest and most aggressive cruise lines in taking out real values of the cruise experience and replacing it with gimmicks.

What companies you think can be better than Costa?
