Wow.. a must have project for tech enthusiasts. Could you please let me know from where you got a general cockpit layout blueprint for an a320? For dimensions etc.

Hello, thank you for great video series of building A320 home cockpit. I have been looking similiar design allready some time so i will watch your tutorial series. I am also trying to download your plans to see dimensions etc but it seems they require access to load. Subscrubed :)

What do you do with the SPAD.Next LVAR monitor file? Where do you put it?
@@tomb8430 actually spad is used to trigger the keys bind to select the view. The view files still under users directory like most custom view files
@@hobbytechgearID69 I am already using spad extensively, and have mapped 3 different simulators (X-Plane, P3D and MSFS) for all aspects of flight controls and switches. The bit I don't understand is how and where all those files go for MSFS. I unzipped the zip file you provided and dropped it in the community folder, but I can't see any differences. Also, are those XML files just for reference? Or are they meant to be put somewhere? It would be great if you could explain that, or put a procedure text file of what to do. Maybe a short video on where you place the files, and how you went about creating the spad expressions. What filters you applied to see the LVARs etc. Any help on this would be great. The camera aspect of MSFS is the most frustrating aspect of the sim. P3D and X-Plane is so much better and easier to map. P3D has Chaseplane and is so easy to customise camera views. Chaseplane on MSFS would be a dream. Apparently they can't do it because MSFS won't release the camera APIs.
@@tomb8430 do apologize as i need to recall mh memory again. Im already lonb time not usinb spad as with new cockpit im usinb mobiflight.. if i remember the lvar setting activated witn buttins if using fenix will be able to directly change. The xml is my export config, thus you cannot dirrectly use yuj might want to copy pastenthe section if youre familiar with it, and copy to your spad config. If not better set yourself as stated in the video, but the you need to do one by one if you would like to set the whole 59 views

Great channel this!! I sure am going to build a flight stick the way you figured! compliments... One question: Why do you use the MMJOY software and not the present Arduino joystick libraries?? I use Arduino Micro and leonardo with these libraries in my Lear45 simpit for flight controls , throttle.. etc, this works fine.
@@loediloedi yes you could i just lazy and not willing to spent time in coding since mmjoy2 provide ample function. But if you have time coding yourself and if possible customize your self would be much better option
@@hobbytechgearID69 ah ok, i thought you maybe had issues with the arduino library. I do experience some issues with the mmjoy software on my w11 asus rog notebook, so i will go with the arduino joystick libraries. Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work!
This is exactly 100% what I would want to make myself. I will be watching your videos with great interest, and what an amazing job!
I guess this is probably helpfull...but. Not for me. What is the point of showing how to code a button in MMJoy2 without showing the wiring setup that goes with it. Button Matrix, Shift Register. Sorry. This means nothing. Here is a physical button. How does it connect to the board to match the example. This is a tutorial for people who know how to do it. Can anyone explain how to wire up a single push button switch?
@@Flakmagnet1701 you right the diagram and everything are in the github and some aremin the forum. I create this video as nobody explain the steps by steps. You got to know electronics basic, soldering etc. As its diy i wont tell you how.

What kind of tools that you use to change camera recording immediately at designated angle, zoom in and zoom out (front, overhead, pedestal)? Is it changed automatically by some motorized tripod?
Im using Insta360 Link webcam which has PTZ features with custom 6 position PTZ memory setting then link the 6 set memory using elgato stream deck to select
This sounds great with no foams, no force break, cut the gasket on spacebar with mx blacks and keykobo wob. The metallic sounds is because the jst wire is not properly tuck in so it vibrates with it.
Just don't use screw in stabs or install the screw on the plate because it will ping the board because its bouncy.

Hello in trying to set up my g1000 panel all buttons and switches work fine , but my heading bug . Just goes left and right between headings 336 and 024 , does not go further than that . Any suggestions, I configured it as event g1000 heading dec -1 parameter , and Hdg inc 1 . ATL button the same and works fine . Only the HDg has that multination. I tried using that bottom for altitude selection and it works fine in both directions adding or subtracting altitude so it’s not something wrong with the button. It’s something wrong with the heading only when I program for that. .
