Maybe we get so emotional because unlike any particular generational love specific to a single time period it is that these guys kept appealing to all the generations so it is a thing shared and almost closes the generation gap somehow.

Mike's death hit me hard because My dad died Feb 24 2012 and Davy died 5 days later on the 29th. (The day of my dad's funeral). My mom died Feb 18 2019. Peter 3 days later on the 21st. At the time I joked thank God I don't have anymore parents. Then Mike died. I lost most of my childhood that day. RIP

I have always considered this to be George's finest song ever and I will never undertand why John vetoed in 1966, the year George wrote it. Meanwhile l, by John's own admission he included fillers like "Dr. Robets" in Revolver, the album that sould have included this masterpiece.

He is so funny and Micky is missing His bestie! We are missing all the lost Monkees!

I met George in 1977. We had a moment. George agrees when I tell you that death is an illusion. He figured that out relatively young. If you want to consult with personalities who have passed, then do so. They might be busy, try again later and fer crissakes when you put your statement of intent to these individuals know this: Sometimes your dreaming mind is the only part of you that will hear and see them. They are not ghosts.

I was born in Norwich and grew up there in the 70's and 80's and moved out late 80's the summer going into my junior year of high school as my dad took a job transfer to Cheshire, CT.( still can't forgive him for that) and haven't been back to Norwich since. Even though I'm planning my first trip there this summer of 2023 for a long three day weekend and just walk the streets again as I hear it has changed much since the 70's and 80's. Oddly enough my family moved out of Connecticut the night I graduated from high school just hours after going up on stage to get my diploma. Haven't been back there either since I graduated as I didn't even live there two years and could care less if I ever go there again as Norwich was my true home.

The great musician Mike Nesmith whom I admire . I never never forget you.forever from Japan. May this gratitude reach you.

It was painfully obvious he wasn't well. The Monkees were great, but Nes went so far beyond that and didn't get the recognition he deserved, especially when it came to the innovation of music video

This was at a concert, Portland Oregon, just practically AND almost as MY front 'DOOR' and I missed it!!! My life regrets list just got a bit longer... right up there with not knowing my crush was crushing on me my whole senior year. Mike's singing voice is terrific, tho he sound's a bit fatigued. I missed this concert and with it the last chance to see & hear Mike & Micky. Thankfully, I get to see & hear Mike in these fantastic videos. RIP Mike, you are missed!!!
