🎯 Excellent Information 🎯
Enjoy the show about stamps and thanks for the invite ✳️....
another fact would be to scan your stamp as a reference for you for a future loss or damage etc. and we all forget what stamp's we send off to dealers to certify.
That is a great idea!
Most informative. I live in England but do have a few old US stamps from my great uncle that may be worth certifying. Would US buyers be put off if I used English expertisers?
They may not provide the same level of confidence as the U.S. experts but it would still be better than none of the stamp warrants a cert and if they are a recognized official service
Appreciate your efforts, I think your knowledge is first class. I hope you will continue these videos.
Thank you, I will
As you know all about stamps, defects, perfects etc shudnt you do more videos about ''what to look for in stamps, value, errors etc for new comers to learn?'' ''Bought an old stamp collection'',''bought an OLD stamp album''.''my friend inherited an old stamp album ''and similar click bait videos that are all over the youtube. Even videos of INDIANS sucking on the stamped pillow say' mostr valuable stamps in the world'' which based on the comments everyone has one ''where i can sell it?''
I appreciate your feedback. How to sell stamps would be a good topic. Ill work on doing a video for that.
0:31 you're one of the first people that I actually think wants to help others
Thank you for your kind words! I really do enjoy sharing valuable information and helping others find their way in the world of stamps.
Is there a way that I could ask you a few questions directly instead of having to go through that other site I'm a stamp collector for almost 60 plus years But not a lot of knowledge
I understand your point because you do sell stamps as a job. But generally speaking, I don't really get this obsession with centering. Especially for classic stamps, uncentered printing was the normality. Again, I am not speaking in terms of stamps as "financial investment", but from a collecting point of view
Your opinion is valid and there are many collectors who could care less. I just happen to be more experienced in more scarce and graded stamps, so that is what some of my content is about.
Those ''graders'' are worst than me when it comes to stamps.I got a postcard with untatched pair of 1c green frank.Saw a video about one is worth thousands must have 10 holes here 11 holes there..i count mine 14 holes? It must be a fake..dump it.
Counting holes is not the proper way of measuring the perforation gauge. You must use a perforation gauge tool to accurately measure.
...and coins🙄.Strabge how the guys has so many subscribers. My guess is all are fortune, delusional seekers...looking for something that doesnt exist in the wild or on the cheapo.
I have hundreds of such stamps .Been collecting them for yrs, even found a box with old stamps while dumpster diving here in my country. Its so boring looking for those tiny details that i dont even bother to measure micro millimeters.
Well, that was a very interesting video! Something strange to learn about George Washington!! Very different from the frequently white and perfect teeth of Americans today. Thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Damn! You know your stamps! I have learned a lot from this video. Keep them coming!
I'm glad you found it informative! There's so much to explore in the world of stamps, and I can't wait to share more with you!
I have question for could you dm me if you have time it's old German stamp??

I have perfect sheets from the Post Office for this dental stamp on the First Day Issue.
Hi Ryan. Thanks very much for this compilation video. It is so useful to learn about the stamps in one continuous session. Again, the second time around, I learned a lot! I might have even asked you about this before, but I am still not exactly sure how it works: am I right if I say the grading system is primarily used to grade the centering of a stamp? Does the condition of a stamp (whether any faults like short perfs, thins, tears etc.) have an influence on the grade of the stamps, or does faults on the stamps precludes grading entirely? Can a stamp with faults be worth anything, or is it just "fodder"? The the same question for the cancellation. Does it influence the grading, or is it a separate issue. Both for faults and cancellations - is there any structure or procedure of influence thereof on the value of a stamp, e.g. a missing perf would be a less serious fault than a tare, and thus will influence value less? I hope the question makes sense!!!!!! Thanks again for sharing your knowledge in your great videos!
Hi! If a stamp has a minor fault like a tiny faint crease or short perf it will knock it back a couple grades. I personally do not send anything with known faults in for grading. Moderate to major faults like thins or tears will not grade at all. But that doesn’t mean they have no value. It will just be a smaller percentage of catalogue. But I’ve had rare damaged stamps with major faults but the stamp value was $10k but still sold it for $500. So not worthless. I plan to do a video on certification and grading soon
@@ThatStampGuy Thanks very much for your answer! I take from it that the condition of the stamp does have an influence on grading, but it is just not so exactly defined (how much each fault influence grading) as the centering of the stamp. Looking forward to your video about grading. I am catching up on videos again, so maybe you already posted it. Thanks again, Ryan!
I inherited a box of stamps dating back to the 1930 and 1940s mostly... How do I go about identifying the stamps and their values? this is brand new to me. Thanks in advance.
If they are in a box and from the 1930s and 40s they are 99.99% common with no significant value.
Hi. I love collecting german colonies especially gri overprint. Love new guinea and Marshall Islands samoa and Tonga but I sadly lack maffia island on german ostafrica hard to find a real one. Thanks great video. Bye from Sydney
Hi just watching your video.can you help me.ccan I send my collection to you.....
You can request an appraisal here www.westcoaststamps.com
Morning.yes you can send me your collection.
Men I got a crazy collection
When forgers trim down perforated stamps to make fake imperfs, they often go too close to the perf holes and you can see small parts of one or two perf holes with a lens or high resolution scan, or even with the naked eye if you look closely. I noticed there were one or two such on the examples you showed.
Like I said before: that´s the first philatelic channel on yt where the curator is a wealth of knowledge. Great content and a whole bunch of valuable background infos. Keep it up, and see you on the next one ! 👌Greets from GER, U.
Thanks so much for your compliments!
thanks for sharing 🌹🌹happiness to you ✔️👍
Woah...I thought i was having a severe dejavu episode until I realized this was a compilation video. There is always so much info that rewatching really helps, though:)
Yes I figured that some people may discover something new a second time around.
I found the quality of the stamps in the Minuteman album a surprise. It's interesting to put the money into nice stamps using a beginner album.
I agree!
Dear sir I am collecting And got some rare pieces Can you send me email to send pictures of my stamps Thanks

What's the best way to persevere a stamp?
Placing it in a stamp mount or archival stamp card. You can find these on stamp supply websites. I prefer SAFE and Lighthouse products. Keep it away from humid areas. Gun safes are ok for storing but if you have older orange stamps it may discolor them. I posted a video on why this happens and how to fix it.
Enjoy your show.. nice stamps ✳️
Very nice albums.
Another awesome video.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your videos. I always find them really informative. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching and your support!
Thankfully, I couldn't find any Osama Bin Laden stamp.
Bin Laden participated in the Afghan mujahideen against the Soviet Union. Here’s an Afghanistan stamp commemorating it i.pinimg.com/736x/e9/16/1e/e9161ef01050c9c47659da038ae9e7a1.jpg
I couldn't find any Warren Buffett stamps, either.
In the U.S. they do not make stamps of people still alive. However here’s a stock exchange stamp that represents Warren buffets expertise ids.si.edu/ids/deliveryService?max=700&id=NPM-1993_2015_0258

Aloha Ryan, I also couldn't find any Donald Trump stamps. to add to my stamp collection.
The U.S. doesn’t issue any stamps of living people. However a few foreign countries have issued trump stamps. Here’s one from Niger storage.googleapis.com/hipstamp/p/2c2bfc7a4e6122a710475be4634dabdb.jpg
Stamps - pieces of coloured paper that old men and fools collect and waste their time and money on - a dying hobby of a once thriving business calked the postal service - now in its death throws
There are hundreds of thousands of dollars being traded every month on collectible stamps. While true it’s not the largest hobby or as big as it was it is still active and can be lucrative depending on material.
Thank you so much for doing these videos! There's so many videos full of misleading info. You Are clearly legit, incredibly educated on all aspects of stamps and obviously beyond experienced with stamps. Please continue to do these!! We need your guidance!! 😊
Thanks for watching and for the kind feedback 🫶
