Monoceros Resort is a small place in Mae Rim, just north of Chiang Mai. A perfect place for recreation. And also close to the mountains where you have exceptional views.

After having circulated about 20 minutes over the Persian Gulf with Emirates a380-800 (EK 419 BKK-DXB) due to thunderstorms, it was time to land in Dubai. We were forced to fly straight through the thunderstorm, which meant a heavy turbulence. If we were hit by lightning, I don't know, but we were close enough for the electronics in my cellphone to behave crazy as it appears in the video.
