Only one character in this movie that I"m really sure we didn't see here - Franki's daughter. And it doesn't make sense that we don't see her, since her death was a pretty big point in the plot. My own idea was to see her sort of hanging by the wall, not joining in with the dance because a) she's dead and b) as a point of not admitting that she likes her parents music, it's a generational thing; but that we'd see her, and Franki would as well, and they'd share a smile in a 'hey dad', 'hi sweetheart' kind of a way, like a moment of pretend peace and to think about the time when she was alive.

I prefer the movie to the musical because the songs don’t move the story forward in the movie and instead they’re just there as a feature in the story like a musical biopic should be (like Bohemian Rhapsody). And the performances are really solid! Especially Vincent Piazza as Tommy Devito
