Balance in everthing
มุมมอง 5236 ปีที่แล้ว
Yes if you actually check, nearly every Vintage razor will balance to the Tang. Much like any good tool should balance to where you hold it. If you are making custom scales it really isn't that hard to do, just think about it first Remember, balance is actually most important in Stropping and Honing, when shaving it is easy to adjust the balance point with different grips

Thanks! I did exactly what you said on a new 10 1/4" Lodge pan.The next morning I made an omelette and it turned out great with no sticking! Word of advice, if you are thinking of seasoning your pan this way make sure you have time. I started around 3:30 p.m. and ended around 10 p.m. But it is so worth it. Thanks again.
Interesting way to extend remote controls like that. If you hold them up to your head (or even a 1 gallon jug of water if you don't want RF going through your brain) it will extend the range. I know it sounds crazy, but I have tried it and it works. Your body can act as a natural antenna for RF. This will work for car and garage fobs as well.
+John Vickers I have heard that about Car Remotes also that by holding them up to your open mouth it would extend the range.. We actually tested it quite some time back when I worked at a Ford Dealership and found that it really made no difference.. We did notice the higher you held it to extend the range a very minimal amount :)
Good Idea , although 30 min is not gona doo too much to heat the engine , and especially the 200 w magnet heaters that are uninsulated against the tranny are loseing 95% the heat to the atmosphere . internal block heaters that are in the water jacket need an average of 3 hours to fully put the amount of heat they are capable of producing to sink into the block . any longer then that and it is a waste of power. I set my block heaters for 3 hours before I intend to use equipment / truck with a programmable timer .This ensures oil will get up in the engine fast and also have cab heat almost instantly. Also ensure to use a GFI receptacle , I notice you don't have one there unless that circuit is on a GFI breaker in panel .As that shed is still considered an outside location . Don't wana spend 3 days in your best suit.
+TheCaperfish There is quite a bit of difference in how fast the controls come on line and how easy it starts once I go past 30 min of pre-heat and then 20-30 minutes of engine warm up.. I forgot to plug it in about 3 weeks ago and had to do a cold start, pretty noticeable difference in time to come up to operating temps.. Especially the Hydraulics.. Yes the entire Pole Barn is a GFI circuit
the roll up extension cord in a case........ suggest you replace it. Those are known to have MAJOR issues; least in the past..... maybe they are redesigned in last year or so. Past ones caused many problem
+coachgeo I checked on that using Google at another's suggestion and found that the ones with issues were the metal cased ones often used in a garage for a drop lamp etc: These are basically an 3 outlet extension cord nothing more then that,
Man you have your own shooting range on your property! I'm officially jealous haha
looks like fun!
Big garden = big work = big benefit. I would start growing some meat too ! Pigs love garden waste but I would put them waaaaay out back.. :<0) I am wondering how you are going to keep the critters out.
LOL! What? Could you redo the video please....LOL. Hopefully you've seen and learned how to make a video. Maybe you don't watch enough TV to know that actors face the camera when they speak.....What? I didn't hear that...lol. Good luck next time making a vid. Thanks for the vid though and waiting to see the results of the garden building process. Fab
