Don't know about you guys, but I see a lot of Tony Soprano in the Penguin-Oz character, and one of Penguin's henchmen reminds me so much of Silvio Dante. It feels like The Sopranos had a big influence on The Penguin!

the gilded age is a solid, solid show. It's about early New York (the Vanderbilts, the railroad building, etc)

Thanks to Sue mentioning it; now checking out "Slow Horses", and hoping I like it because (hypothetically) I would have 4 juicy seasons of catch-up viewing to do, and meanwhile possibly improve my English. But, having trouble seeing how it could win an Emmy as it seems a British show, and actually now wondering if any "foreign" series has ever won an Emmy. Also, it appears to be produced by Will Smith.

I love tanner he is my fave on cobra kai. Love this interview. He looks so cute with his new hair. I know people have been hating on it but oh well.

Thoughtful piece. I wish the studio execs would listen because Bogdonovich is exactly right about movies today - they’re B pictures about comic book heroes made for 13 year-olds. I haven’t been to a movie in twenty years for that reason. They’re trash. Thank heavens for Turner Classic films and TUBI and the rest. That’s where the real movies are. .

I so felt FELLOW TRAVELERS and I'm a straight divorcée Mom. I would love it if Ron wrote something with MATTHEW GOODE in mind. He's phenomenal ("Leap Year", "The Crown" [Snowden], & "THE OFFER" [brilliant Paramount limited series]).
