Welcome to my channel! I’m Micha, a pianist and composer, sharing regular, improvised sessions where sound meets silence. These videos are an invitation to experience moments of calm and reflection together.
For me, music is a space to pause and connect-to nature, to ourselves, and to the small details that often go unnoticed. I’m excited to share this journey with you, hoping it offers a bit of inner harmony and a moment to slow down.

piano meditations #12 [satya patchouli] 45mins in 432Hz - Michael Geldreich
Hello everyone,
for this session, I wanted to consciously surrender to a longer journey.
The length of this improvisation is guided by the slow burning of a Satya Patchouli incense stick-its warm, earthy scent filling the room as the music unfolds.
It was a cold day at the open window, a warm blanket wrapped around me.
Maybe light up a scent for yourself while listening, take a deep breath, and let the music settle around you.
How does it feel to listen? Let me know your thoughts.
All the best,
Micha 🙏🎹

Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #11 [what was i made for by Billie Eilish] 432Hz
มุมมอง 63519 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Hello everyone, this time, a shorter session-an improvisation around "What Was I Made For" by Billie Eilish. There’s something about this song that resonates deeply with me. Its atmosphere, its harmonies-exploring its mood and tonality feels like stepping into a space both delicate and open. Playing with it brings me joy, a quiet kind of joy, one that lingers. Lately, I’ve been experimenting wi...
Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #10 [twilight] 432Hz
มุมมอง 1.1K14 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hello everyone, In Episode 10 of "piano meditations", I introduced something new to the session-a Zaphir chime. I’ve always loved the delicate, shimmering sounds it creates, like a breeze carrying tiny fragments of melodies. The chime feels organic and spontaneous, adding a unique texture that blends beautifully with the piano’s resonance. This little session was about exploring how the chime’s...
Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #9 w/ Leander Greitemann on handpan [hourglass] 432Hz
มุมมอง 3.5K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hello everyone 🤍 Episode 9 is a very special one-it’s the first "piano meditations" session with a guest. I’m joined by my dear friend Leander on Handpan, and together we explore an improvisation based on a beautiful melody Leander brought to the session. Playing with someone else in this space was a new and deeply inspiring experience. The connection between piano and handpan felt like a conve...
Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #8 [new beginning] 432Hz
มุมมอง 3.5K28 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hello everyone, In Episode 8, "new beginning", I wanted to capture the feeling of starting fresh-letting go of old habits, patterns, or expectations, and transitioning into something that feels closer to who we really are. These sessions always feel personal, but this one especially so. I hope it offers you a moment to reflect on your own new beginnings, whatever they might look like. As I play...
Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #7 [mantra 1] 432Hz
มุมมอง 4.8Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Hello everyone, In Episode 7, for this night session I took a different approach-a mantra practice. For about 21 minutes, I repeated the same melody and phrase over and over again, letting it unfold naturally. Playing this way felt both intense and relaxing at the same time, like being fully immersed in the sound while letting my mind quiet. Mantras are often used in meditation to help focus th...

Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #6 [loving or leaving] 432Hz
มุมมอง 6Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Hello everyone, In Episode 6, my improvisation is inspired by my piece Loving or Leaving-a composition that explores the delicate balance between holding on and letting go. The original version carries an emotional depth that I wanted to revisit, allowing the improvisation to take it in new, unplanned directions. These sessions are always about being present with the music and seeing where it l...
Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #5 [overflowing] 432Hz
มุมมอง 11Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Hello everyone, in Episode 5, I play an evening improvisation based on my piece Overflowing (you can find the original version here on the channel). After a long day in the studio, this recording became my final take-a quiet moment to unwind and let the impressions of the day settle. The session ended up being exactly 11:11 long-a coincidence that felt special. In spirituality, 11:11 is often s...
Michael Geldreich - piano meditations #4 [hyperballad by Björk] 432Hz
มุมมอง 6K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello Everyone, in Episode 4, I explore an improvisation inspired by Björk’s Hyperballad, a song that has been close to my heart for a long time. Its blend of depth and simplicity has always resonated with me, and this session is my way of reflecting on its essence. During the intro, the felted piano added its own unique character with some unexpected, “funny” sounds and diffuse overtones-littl...

Isn't love, and anything else in this temporary place, a matter of loving or letting go? It's a push and pull movement. But this one feels very very deep. Like a real decision. Like having to let go of a hug or stop holding hands when one decides to stop a relationship. Letting go of love always takes a piece of our heart. And all we are left with is music...
I love how all the inhabitants of Planet Music are showing up and improvising meditations from the depths of the soul ... with incense to elevate. This is so profound. I really like the space between the movements. It seems like a decision / indecision movement, like most piano. Maybe these are too many words but the silence between let the words escape me. This feels like diving in a lake with some harmonics sounding almost like a sonar, especially when you gave space for the melody alone. I love it when music makes me stop everything I am doing and just listen.
Music is mainly a meditation. Specially for the one playing. For me, it's how I achieve other dimensions. Amazing piece.
Your music is always full of magic and inspiration ❤ I really enjoyed it, brought me some very peaceful moments. Thank you Michael
Lovely improvisation and good playing Michael! My own published music is rather different but has elements of this style. My tracks Air, Glide, Mountain of the Sun (played by concert pianist Nicola Meecham), Push, Affirmation, Horizon, Tuuli, Danza are examples on my channel.
think I would like to play a piano tuned at 432 Hz

Espléndido trabajo, wow
Is this piano slightly out-tuned? It's makes sound more personal, love it.
It‘s tuned to 432hz and a bit „lively“ overall :) thank you!
The idea of covering a song then riding out with an improv is awesome.
Thank youuu 🙏🏻
Absolutely beautiful piano performance & interpretation of this wonderful song by Billie Eilish. This was so expressive & emotional ❤
