These caterpillars that look like bird poop are larvae of the Giant Swallowtail Butterfly. They seem to like my Mandarin plant and the five of them have pretty much eaten it bare. I tried to move them to a different plant and their reaction startled me. (some sound effects added)

The last two hatchlings leave the nest. It was very interesting to observe how adult finches congregated outside our foyer,where the nest is located, to "help" the hatchlings fly to the nearest tree. I also like it how themother finch came and fed the last hatchling one more time and shortly thereafter it flew out of the nest.

Finch hatchlings are about to leave the nest. One of the three flew away already. Ex[ecting these two to follow soon. It's interesting observing how the two interact with the parent finches and each other.

Baby finches are about to leave nest and start practising flying in a very crowded nest.

My daughter's 2017 Mid year Macbook Pro 13 inch two thunderbolt port A1708 ran out of space (we only got the 128G SSD).
